The New York Post reports that former first daughter Chelsea Clinton’s gig with NBC News may soon come to an end. According to the paper, “Her contract is for only 90 days, and while she’ll provide the network with two more stories, sources say it is not certain she’ll immediately sign again.”

NBC denied the story — which also suggested that the network went overboard flaunting Chelsea's gig — telling the Post: “100 percent false. You will see more pieces from Chelsea. She has been warmly welcomed into this news division, and we can’t be more pleased with her work. We hope she will be with us for a long time. There was no over-hyping of her role.”

A Clinton rep, also dismissing the speculation, said, “Chelsea is at the beginning of her contract, and when she gets closer to the end, discussions will begin about whether or not to renew. In the meantime she is very much enjoying her time there and looking forward to her next piece airing.”

I am sure if we all had a choice we would have wanted to have it easy in life. C'est la vie.

I think she is pretty intelligent and definitely has tried to make her own way. No doubt she gets opportuntiies the little person doesn't.

you can't bullshit your way through a media job, especially in this current market where even GOOD shows get canned because of low viewer turnout
