Physical health-wise? I only have one functioning kidney. Not really a problem these days, but since kidney failure is relatively symptom-less until it's too late, it means regular checks & paranoia about various issues(also no hrdcr drugs for me, lol). Also not really supposed to have antibiotics as I was fed them daily from 1-11ish. Oh and technically I'm supposed to go and pee as soon as I feel a slight need so my parents trained me to do so at a young age, I can't eat, sleep, etc unless my bladder is completely empty, I can hold it for hours at a time unless I'm sleepy/hungry/horny though. Non-physical health-wise, everything :B
There is an biological explanation for that. Europeans domesticated cows and drank their milk for centuries, which allowed for them to develop the digestive enzyme to break down lactose. Africans and Asians, however, have historically not been consumers of cow's milk and largely never developed the same enzyme. A lactose intolerance map:
I am European, and I am lactose intolerant. Pretty common in any adults. Yes moresoe i AA, but most adults eventually face this.
Well according to this Cornell study, most Northern Europeans retain the ability to digest milk for the entirety of their lives. I have an Irish friend who is also lactose intolerant, a condition so rare there that his family looked at him like he was born with two heads. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2005/06/050602012109.htm --- I've had plantar fasciitis for a little over a year, but it's manageable and will do away with it for good once I stop being lazy about getting it treated. Fortunately I have no serious physical ailments. Mentally I'm arrogant and can be a nightmarish asshole if I feel like you're trying to fuck me over or simply think you deserve my abuse. Generally though I'm an easy-going dude from the west and very fun to get drunk with.
When I absolutely have to have some dairy (Pizza, Ice Cream, etc.) I pop a couple of lactate tablets, and it usually reduces the after effects a bit.
I'm lactose intolerant too, among other things (diabetes, heart arrythmia) and Lactaid has some great lactose-free products like cottage cheese, milk & ice cream on the market. No yogurt yet. I like yogurt and miss it, but I don't like any of the soy yogurts I've tried. Having an extremesomehard time controlling my blood sugars. Either the meds aren't effective, or they have unpleasant side effects (weight gain, fatigue, cause "crashes"). Diet and exercise only seem to help marginally. *sigh*
I have a nickel allergy and that limits me to what jewlery I can wear. I choose not to wear a watch for this reason. I also have a chronic shoulder injury which is finally getting better now... huzzah!!
I'm like that too sometimes when it comes to my equestarian and vocals, but with my perfectionism, I would practice for 5 hours straight, and if I didn't it get perfect; I would just keep on getting it right until I either collapse or finally had it perfectly. And with the BC games coming this summer, I'll be so busy with my equestarian matters, that I would be practicing 3 times a week for 3 hours each, starting in April.

Nyx, what did you try to help increase iron levels? I've struggled with iron levels as well... definitely understand that always being tired thing too. It's tough feeling so tired all the time! Feels like the day is wasted/super long because you're too tired to do something, yet done nothing.
i got some vitamins for that but i see nothing changed... so i stopped them now mostly trying to eat a lot of food that help not that helps but i try
I understand being tired, some days (because of RA) I'm completely exhausted & hardly able to do anything. It can be difficult to clean house, do laundry, cook & take care of children. I have to pace myself for sure. I make sure I have plenty of rest. I take rest breaks while doing chores. It's also difficult to go up & down stairs, some days are better than others.
Have you ever tried doctor prescribed iron pills? multi vitamins weren't enough for me, but iron pills gave the boost that was needed. Now multi vitamins work fine, when they didn't before. The last two times I've had blood work (after fasting...) my iron level's been fine. Iron doesn't change as much as other 'stuff', usually when you get it to the right level its easier to keep it there. Everyone's different though Hope you can find something that works, because it's hard, even if it sounds like it's not a big deal at all.
it was vitamins for iron ....not multi vitamins.. if ok to ask how low you were when they gave you the pills
I can't remember now, it was awhile ago. But, since I also got birth control rings the same time, the doc told me that even if I decided I wanted to TRY and get pregnant, my body would not be able to support it, iron was too low. At the time, it was good in a way, because I didn't want to be pregnant, and it meant triple the protection  I'm not sure of what the measurements mean again, but if I remember correctly, for women 12-15 is normal, and mine was a 6 or a 7.
Well, you needn't suffer either of those in the looks department! You're a pleasant sight for sore (or any kind of) eyes.
Thanks chesbaygrl7! Breakups can have that effect on you, but doing well this semester did a lot to restore my confidence!
