    This is my first message board to take part in! (I know, it's 2012...I'm a tad behind the times.) I've heard these can be fun and I just happened to come across this one, so I thought I'd start the new year out by trying something new.

    I'm in the SF Bay Area. Napa Valley is absolutely beautiful - if you ever have the opportunity you should definitely go!

    I've never been to NYC, but hope to someday. Do you like it there?

    Glad to hear about Napa as well, always heard it was beautiful.

    NYC has it all, can't complain. As a very cultural person I love the diversity of different cultures you can encounter from practically any part of the world.

    Look forward to your contributions to the dialogues on our little corner of the web. :)

    I used to live in Monterey and loved visiting San Francisco. We only really got to the city, not the surrounding area. My ex was military, and living in Cali was by far the best duty station, imo. Wishing I had been able to see more of the state than I did. My ex, lucky for him, lives in Cali and gets to the Napa Valley area often.
