Seriously, Kid Rasta. What the fuck is wrong with you? You have two people who are potentially getting divorced(with kids involved)and you are making smiley faces at it. SMFH

 

Divorce sucks, ESPECIALLY with a child/children involved. My heart goes out to them. I wouldn't wish a divorce on my worst enemy. Well, maybe I would on my worst enemy. LOL.

Never a good thing to hear when any couple is getting divorced because I always feel bad for the kids in those kind of scenarios.

Agreed with you all, it hints of self-hate towards black women while liking white women at the same time. Glad I'm not like he is even though I like white women/women of other races including black women. Hard to understand why the guy (knowingly) did that. :smt011

I post less often on this site now, but this thread really prompted me to sign on and make a post here. Anyways, I reported the post and asked Webmaster to change around the icon (if it's possible) for this thread.

 

i originally wanted to comment on this because of how I feel about Will and Jada splitting (if it is even true this time)...i have heard rumors it was an open marriage and that to me makes their marriage a joke anyway. So who knows???

...But some of these comments about Kid Rasta (mainly by ThePrince and Mikey) really piss me off. Is it right that Kid Rasta is happy for a marriage involving children coming to an end? Maybe not. But to say it is racially motivated is quite an assumption. And even if you are right, to say he has self hatred because he is no fan of black women is IDIOTIC. I have made comments about this and I will say it again:

JUST BECAUSE A BLACK MAN DOESNT DATE BLACK WOMEN OR EVEN HATES BLACK WOMEN DOESNT MEAN HE HATES HIMSELF. Kid Rasta is not a black woman. so how does hating women (if he even does) mean he hates himself? He is a man. If he is anything like me (and many black men who dont date black women) he does not like the way most black women behave, carry themselves, look, the types of men they normally deem "worthy", etc. What black women do with their lives has nothing to do with me. I am not obligated by some law that says since I am black I must love black women. that is ignorant and the stupidest notion I have ever heard.


The new trend right now is white men and asian women. do these white men have self hatred because they dont date white women? No. they are going after what turns them on (and more importantly women they RESPECT). Learn the difference.

 

Well, I would clarify that by saying that you hate your race, aka internalized racism. (referring to what's in bold)

Anyways, with the prerogative you have, keep wondering why only black men catch the most heat from others if the woman they date is of a non-black descent, not just white women.

You should also be aware that if you enter a IR based on resentment of the opposite gender of your own skin, that relationship is more likely to fail because it's based on resentment and not on love. You don't have to be a genius in sociology to realize that.

So again, I think I am right in saying that it makes sense for someone to change this thread around.
