Verizon backtracks on $2 fee after customer outrage

    You see motherfuckers? You have to get angry and also be willing to wage war against these corporations.

    Verizon Wireless has reversed its decision to charge a $2 fee for one-time telephone and online bill payments after a storm of criticism from consumers and the U.S. communications regulator.

    The biggest U.S. wireless operator retracted its decision on Friday, just a day after it announced the fee, which was to have begun January 15.

    Don't worry they will find another place to stick the fee quietly. You can report on that!

    True.

    It will be hidden and passed on to everyone not just those who need the convenience of paying their bill with a credit card. I would have been ok if they kept it the way they proposed for that reason.
