We have a smallish population of French Africans in my city. It's not too hard to meet a fabulous BM if you know where to go

Flint ....that's my old stumping grounds. I come back to Michigan monthly and still get up that way from time to time...my friend moved so its been a while. Would love a reason to get that way

I noticed that when in Paris they had a large African population too...I just didn't think about that for Switzerland. I guess we are everywhere?!

In Europe you find mostly African immigrants. Black Americans are pretty rare.

In France 1.5-5 Mio (particularly Guadeloupe, Martinique and Haiti), and French Guiana.

In Italy mostly from Nigeria, Ghana.

GB has a higher population, too.

In Switzerland you find mostly people from DRC, Cameroon, Angola and most of them live in the french Cantons (Geneve,Vevey, Fribourg and Lausanne)

You don't find numbers of citizens or immigrants, race related, it's not allowed in several European Nations.

 

Have you ever dated a black American? Or is that kind of like finding the mythical unicorn?

 

I don't know any black American in Europe. I know several American men personally, when I've travelled to US, but I've never dated one.

I am working with african countries and only know the mentality and men from there

 

I loved being in Europe, I was stationed there for three years in Germany an traveled all over Europe while there. I didn't get to Switzerland , a regret! I also didn't get to Spain another country I really wanted to visit. I loved it an black men where loved almost everywhere I went! I met a girl in Paris who didn't speak any English but we hit it off and had an amazing time! I also met a Russian girl and had a blast in Austria. I would love to move to either Asia or Europe for a few years... I talk to recruiters all the time but nothing has materialized yet. My vacation in 2013 is to fly into Spain, train to Paris, then fly to Rome and then home. I've been planning it for a few years....

 

Here is another guy, his Nickname is Soulthinker..he also loves to travel to Europe. Where in Germany have you been stationed?

Switzerland is pretty expensive, but some places are really worth to see.. The TGV from Paris to Zürich is directly, It just takes 4 hrs, so maybe you should think about a trip to Switzerland, too- or maybe directly to Geneve? Then Geneve-Lugano or Chiasso- Milano and Rome?

 

I was stationed in Neurnburg/ Fureth area. I loved it so much I wanted to stay!
Thank you for the suggestion, I think I will look into adding that Swiss stop over to my itenerary ... I was supposed to go in 2011 but pushed it back so that I could do it the way I wanted and experience everything! Any must sees you can suggest?

Nguy,be careful about Spain and as for the rest of Europe, you will have a ball. Do you know any people who lived in the places you are visiting?

 

I have a friend in Germany... But I don't know anyone in Spain or anywhere else in Europe. I'm a bit of an explorer though. I spend three years in Europe years ago.
