I would prefer to date a woman who has been in an IR relationship but then again I don't have much dating experience myself so it wouldn't really matter to me either other way as long as their is an attraction there thats all that matters

Possibly but I'd take it slow. It would just be easier with someone who has some experience with IR. Plus they're more likely to be somewhat racially aware. I just don't want to have deal with teaching Race 101 to a racially clueless WW. Less of a chance of dealing with that if they know the deal already.

Exactly. Even if you date someone of your own race you can have hurdles to overcome. Religion, politics,jobs, location, station in life etc etc. I don't think dating IR is seriously that much harder unless you are weak minded and listen to all the negative people in life in genera,l who say this can't be done or that can't be done. If you do you have more issues than trying to date IR. A person who likes them self and has good self esteem can go pretty far in life.
agree and I think, with a good self esteem, the family and friends trust your decision and your choice, anyway. And if not, like you say, we are grown-ups, we can handle our life, ourselves
Hey I think this will be a good place for me to make my first post. Anyways I think you should give anyone a chance I've dated women (mainly asian and latina) who have never dated interracially. Most of the time the relationship is a bit strained but as time goes on most women get used to it. I would argue that most of my interracial relationships were with first timers.

IR dating IR dating is so hot. i like to do it all the time here in New york. it gives me a chance to know how other ethnic group survive in the big apple. i have alot tell me Nassau Community College class when we are writing term paper's on ethnic girls in my city.:smt038
