His nickname used to be "enfant terrible" - terrible child in his early days.

He had a pretty good spell at Chelsea after leaving his early days at Arsenal and briefly Real Madrid and then Bolton.

Anelka is said to be very temperamental off the pitch as well IF one believes the rumors about him texting naked pics of his (not so) lil friend to another woman on his wedding day... that's not exactly how a pious muslim should behave I assume.
