Have you ever been to Covington? Obviously not. A podunk town would be somewhere like Bunkee or Race, LA where there aren't any businesses and just a small community or town. Way to go stereotyping again.

 

Not stereotyping at all bbw. Most of the cities/towns in Louisiana are crappy. I've had to travel thru out that state awhile back and even stayed in Shreveport (what a hell hole)

Doesnt Covington have like a population under 10,000? Yeah I'd say that qualifies as podunk imo.

 

Back then as in the early 2000s? Much has changed since then and I *can* agree (to an extent) that most parishes aren't great if you're big on clubs and partying. Covington use to be more rural, but since they've been erecting business places and what have you, it's been growing. Hardly podunk anymore.

You'll have to come back again and see the changes. I, for one, like this sort of setting. I guess I prefer a more quiet and easy going atmosphere and not much of a party person or club person. I can find things better to do than wasting money on getting into establishments or buying drinks to have fun in a social environment.
