Very true. I am actually more libertarian/independent than conservative. And lmao at BBW. You must not of seen Bowling for Columbine. He flat out goes to Charlton Heston's house and tells him that he shouldn't own guns. Pay attention next time dumbass
Hahaha, you're telling me to pay attention when I actually remember the damn movie and the interview. Show me where he explicitly said that Heston shouldn't own guns. I'm waiting for it. Oh wait...you CAN'T. You like talking about your ass. You're an evolved African Ape and you still fling the shit out your ass? Laughable. He was confronting him on a pro-guns rally when an incident involving a little girl was shot by some kid. Not once did he bring up "get rid of your guns, dumbass. Your loony ass must be living in a delusion, huh?
MOORE is a loon. He was trying to put the blame on Heston (for the death of the little girl). If you would of paid attention to the stupid propaganda film, you would of realized that. Also its clear that if Moore had his way, he would get rid of all guns. Keep believing what you believe though.
Again, you're talking like a paranoid lunatic. You went from "he says he wants to outlaw guns in his movie" to "blaming Heston on the girl's death". Why the fuck are you even trying to be politically astute? You're only coming off as a pompous desperate jackass because I refuted your ignorant claims on Moore. Compared to people like Pat Buchanan (right-wing nutcase), he's practically normal and within the leftist ideology. Before you even respond or post something, you better come up with something better than any old excuse to exercise some paranoid nonsense Moore NEVER said nor implied in the movie. Again, he's a proponent of gun control (NOT the same as outlawing). BIG DIFFERENCE dumbass! Your "independent" thinking is clouded with utter bullshit and any rational person can see that.
Reminds me of all the conservatives back in 08 who were freaking out when Obama was elected because "He's gon take ours guns away! Get er done!" So gun and ammo sales went through the roof for months while these idiots were sitting around waiting for the government to ban guns or some other stupid shit they made up out of nowhere. With absolutely no proof whatsoever. Not that that's ever stopped conservatives from lying and fear mongering.
I'm not paranoid or anything like that fellas. But there are SOME libs that would love to do away with all guns. And thats fine and all if thats their opinion. And BBW, once again if you had watched the movie Moore was trying to make Heston feel guilt (even left the photo of the girl at his doorstep). Another difference between libs/cons Conservatives want smaller government Liberals want bigger government
Making Heston feeling guilty does not equal the outlawing of guns. Quit changing the subject, jackass. And again, very FEW from the left would advocate gun bans on citizens. But like the majority, they simply want reasonable and responsible gun control laws. Hell, even the conservative NJ Gov. Chris Christie agrees with this measure. So it's not a left/right issue. It's a practical issue. And again (in bold), you've ignored that the previous (conservative) president had the largest expansion of government. And so did Reagan. For some reason, whenever you make pissant claims or even try and talk politics, you fail on so many levels and it's sad that you're even trying to debate politics with me. You're only making yourself look dumber than you actually are. P.S. I'll refrain from your comment in my Hitchen's thread. While as laughable, I'll still give you SOME slack for your post. After all, you like to think that way and it's perfectly fine.
I disagree entirely. I would reverse the words 'conservative' and 'liberal' on this. The conservative community are the ones primarily trying to limit rights (i.e. banning gays from the military, banning abortion, censorship), at least in my experience in government.
lmao at this obese POS. He even plays the race card at the very end of this segment:smt043 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtAU019t3bc
I wouldn't be surprised if you have a baby Jesus Butt plug lodged up your ass. I guess you can't pray away stupidity, can ya?
You can't refute what he says. And he never said at all he wants to outlaw guns. Again, you're that very paranoid retard Moore's talking about.
Does BBW live on this site? Probably gets noticed via email or text whenever I respond to his posts or something:smt043
If that's your only response, then you've already lost. Again, I have yet seen any proof of yours that Moore wants to ban guns at all. Let alone this dumb thread overall.
Sure I can. Americans have every right to own a gun. Doesn't matter if they live in a "safe" area. If they feel the need to go the extra mile to protect themselves, they should be able to do so. And also he was waaaay off base to say that Americans are buying up guns because they are racist or scared of black people. Thats just a cop out/playing the race card angle that libs love to use. Stupid reasoning by Moore right there.
How exactly is that wrong? The keyword is FEAR and the culture of fear. Watching the news and you always hear about criminal activity in the US. Why is that? Not only these bits of news are out to generate viewers, but to keep them under a constant state of fear. The second amendment rights does grant people to bare arms, certainly. But the context is often marred because of the interpretation of it. Here is the text: "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." It poses a (few) problem(s) and it's all based on how people interpret it: - The civilian militia interpretation, which holds that the Second Amendment is no longer valid, having been intended to protect a militia system that is no longer in place. -The individual rights interpretation, which holds that the individual right to bear arms is a basic right on the same order as the right to free speech. -The median interpretation, which holds that the Second Amendment does protect an individual right to bear arms but is restricted by the militia language in some way. And the Supreme Courts generally cannot come to agreement with it, except in one case back in the 30s where the interpretation was regarded on a militia front. In other words, only when there's a threat to the country would they be able to bare arms. The textual language of any amendment is hard to decipher unless you're well-versed in the language. Thus the interpretations will continue. But back on point, almost all Americans agree that people should have the right to own a gun, regardless of political ideology. I support that as well, but I'm also not naive and stupid to think that there's an agenda beyond it by fringe groups. With the rise of hate groups and militias since the election of this President and the wholesale of guns jumped dramatically, there's no reason how anyone could be this dense and deny that there are some racial undertones as to why there is a rise of fear in this country. And if you're that much of an addle-brained jackass to ignore this fact, then you're lost.
