IMO, at the end of the day, the people who're most successful with any kind transformation in life, are inspired not by others, but because they want the change badly enough. That's not to say that support isn't a good thing. But, no one can exert more influence over your life than the inner power that each person possesses to manifest his or her own vision.
Agreed, well stated. My goal is to break the 40 minute barrier in the 10 kilometer racing distance by the end of the year, ideally around Christmas. I ran a race on November 5th, won in my age bracket and set a personal record with a running time of 40:43. 2012 will be an even better year, my race times in that distance should range from 37 to 38 minutes in the first half of the year, and 36 to 37 minutes in the second half of the year.
