Chateaubriand Chateaubriand is a lean piece of meat. The reason, why you should marinate it in Oliveoil and Rosmarin a few hours before cooking. You fry onions, cherry tomatoes and olives or other vegetables in a pan and put in the meat for one or two minutes on both sides. Afterwards you cook it in oven (140-160 Fahrenheit) for around 10-15 minutes. At the end you put it again into the pan for one minute on both sides.. Entrecote Entrecote you normally grill, because it is marmorated with fat and has a high fat contant. But exactly that makes the meat very soft and creates a special taste..
Yummy-yummmmmmm! Now THAT is my kind of steak.. dont like entrecote at all.. like it lean.. w a home made bernaise sauce.. divine! Or similar - coeur de filet provencale Swedes seem to love grilling entrecote, I just dont like it.. I leave half the steak
Aaah no wonder I had no idea what this was, I don't eat steak. Plus I'm likely not all that cultured either, too long as a vegetarian to have explored the culinary delights of meat.
You know, this is something I don’t believe you. Of course these food was just an example, steaks are, in my experience, something that know men pretty well. But my point was that culture defines a life style of appreciation and valuation of the things around us. Of course you can throw all kind of meat in pans and cook it, or you can drink a bottle of wine in five minutes, no matter how expensive it is. But to appreciate that an animal gave its life to still your hunger or to valuate that some people took care of your bottle of wine over decades, is what I am talking about. To prepare it nicely and to taste the food and not just to guzzle. The same with music, art and how one takes care of oneself. Culture is for me, to feel, to taste, to hear and to appreciate what nature gives us every day and to treat it with respect.
I like the steak to have a little fat .. reason i guess is i eat it very well done and if there is none does get dry faster ..
I hate people saying that, it makes people feel better, but it's not the truth. The animal didn't 'give' its life, its life was taken from it...forcibly. Not that I have anything against eating meat, not at all....I LOVE meat and those steaks both looked so yummy. I'm hungry now after looking at them. LOL *drools* Damn...I wish I had some steak here, I could really go for a BBQ right now!
here is a list of bro's yall can choose from http://imdatingablackguy.com/2010/01/21/the-four-types-of-black-guys/ Tirkah is the down low bro.
I can't pick just one type. I like a mix of #1 and #3 (heavy on #3) and the best of #2 thrown in there. Skip #4. If I wanted a white guy, I'd get me one. (Goody, quit startin' %#&*! with Tirkah! :smt018 LOL!)
