Well, well, well. Gaius Charles seems to be back in the saddle. Last time I heard he had given up acting to devote himself full time to serving the Lord which explained why he hasn't been seen since "Salt". If he has changed his mind then I'm pleased about that (no offense, God). He's a talented actor.
I think he's trying to make the point that several posters have made in the past about American actresses being reluctant to work with black men in a romantic capacity in contrast to their foreign counterparts.
Apparently, that's true. Think about it. Have any of the top white American actresses like Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Drew Barrymore, Emma Stone, Amanda Seyfried, Cameron Diaz, Anne Hathaway, Scarlett Johansson, Renee Zellweger, Kristen Stewart, Sarah Jessica Parker, Katherine Heigl & Meryl Streep ever done a flick where their characters were romantically involved with an African American actor??? Even in the porn world, there are a some white American porn chicks that refuse to work with Black males. Contrast that to just about all the foreign porn chicks who gladly work with Black males. Is it the actress not taking the part or Hollywood not writing it? In the US, I vote for the part not being written. Most actors/actresses will take a part based on the integrity of those involved and on the writing. Kid you need to quit quoting porn. Porn is not life.
A lil' back-in-the-day IR: http://www.whitewomenblackmen.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5362&highlight=Gaius+Charles
Doesn't matter if it's written for IR or not -- IR is a part of real life. Movies and other media should reflect reality. BTW, porn is a part of life like everything else. Porn is a billion-dollar business as well. The Kid Rasta
When they put out a notice for a part they specify what they want. That means the script is written already and an actor goes in to fill what is available that they think they fit. So if there is no part you don't go. Such as it is they usually say what race they want. So the actors don't run the show the producers do.
So racism and sexism are "stupid points" because you're assuming they are reacting differently to you due to your sex or ethnic background? "Stupid points", huh? It's not always a "stupid point."
Kind of like the coincidence of having young bm gangsters all the time back in the 80s(despite the fact most of them were college educated suburbanites). Must be the only roles they wanted. Seriously can't find that huge eye roll emoticon yet.
its no lie, their agents usually advise them not to work with black men when it comes to porn because it can "ruin them" when infact they can make more doing IR porn and it dosent ruin them heres a interesting interview with sophie dee she speaks on that subject also about how people view her and her husband http://www.xcitement.com/interview/?page_id=907
no prob, its an interesting interview, good to hear a white female pornstar actually speak for herself about the bs when it comes to the lies about IR porn
American woman. What can you assume from that? I assume nothing. We have no idea what has gone on behind the scene for casting these things. People are assuming out the ass. And yeah. I think it's stupid to assume one thing or another because she is Australian.
People are going to have problems with IR involving BM/WW for as long as we're all alive. That's just the way it is.
