Sure it will. Natural resources will run dry, humans will continue to ingest genetically modified and processed crap as a means for sustenance resulting in more and more mysterious and unexplained illnesses. Eventually our over-consuming parasitic species will die off and the earth will eventually replenish itself.

No, our problem is the inability to adapt.

My pet peeve: the proper way to write the contraction for "should have" is "should've" not "should of." I know, I'm being persnickety.

You know what's funny? "Should've" isn't recognized as a real word, according to spell-checker.

Damn....we should make that a real word and take out "awesome" and replace with something better.

You are not persnickety - you are completely and wonderfully correct - don't let anyone take that away from you. Shout it from the fucking rooftops until all of those little bastards GET it and fucking correct themselves!!!!!! Damnit!! :smt013

I am going to blow a gasket.

Spell-checker was invented by some idiot 25-year old, no doubt. Does it recognize "fortnight" as a word? Oh no, you have to switch it to "British English spell-checker", which was invented/programmed by someone much older.

I have been known to say LOL from time to time, but wtf is an Amber Lamp. I have a feeling you are going to show me, and it is going to be disturbing and/or gross. Because you are young and have nothing better to do with your time.

In case you didn't notice - the words I listed were ACTUAL COMMON
words in common usage in America today and even for decades that have been
mispronounced FOREVER - people have had DECADES to learn how to properly
pronounce these words, but they are too stupid and/or lazy (as were their parents and their parents before them) to bother. And so I can't be bothered
WITH THEM. Can't run the risk of passing the lazy gene onto my children - would rather not have children at all then have one (or two) running around shouting EXPRESSO!! and LAUNDRYMAT!! Stupid dumbass kids (and their halfwit parents).

How about "different from" and "different than"? I don't know if it comes from being a child brought up in Canada, reading mostly English authors, but it really skeeves me out when people (especially local newscasters who ought to know better IMHO) use "from" and "than" so loosely and without nuance. It almost gives me hives. I certainly get a bad taste in my mouth.

    There's also:

"I would/should/could of did..." instead of "I would/should/could have done....".

"I would/should/could of went..." instead of "I would/should/could have gone...".

    Your and you're.

Not capitalizing proper nouns or first letter of a sentence and such.

    Whatever.

I think a lot of people think is actually is "should of" instead of "should have".
