    Here is my advice...

....look at a black man like any other man. Judge him on his character. Its not like we are mutants, or some rare forbidden fruit. So long as you see us as something OTHER, you will always have an issue.

    your loss.

While we're on the subject, one pet peeve of mine is when people make it a point to mention that someone is black.

Like, "have you ever dated a BLACK man?"
"I had a BLACK customer today"

Really?? In this day and age is that still really so noteworthy?

I'm going to start doing the same thing, but for white people. Starting with the white security guard at my job when I get to the office this morning.

"Hey white Stewart! Hope you have a great day today."

Cosign. Unless describing something to the cops I don't get why it has to come up. We really shouldn't be exotic at this point.

    I don't think we'll ever know now...

My ex bf did this ALL the time. I was surprised because I thought white people were guilty of this more than black people. If I was relating a conversation or incident to him, he would always interrupt and ask if the person/people involved was/were black or white. Most of the time, it was irrelevant.

Then why did u ask bookie to clarify if her crush is white or black? Just saying. Your guilty of what you judge others on then.

People have taken to running off every new person with rudeness. Maybe she grew up in a home or town whee ir dating isn't the norm. Now she'll prolly just say fuckit.r

No because its in the context of the site we're on. Context is a lost concept to most you isn't it lol.

If you need me to break it down feel free ask my friend.

If that's all she needed for her to say fuck it then she really wasn't all that interested

Again, I had the same thought but I always get ridiculed when I defend a newbie. So I just just hush up until I see the OP's true colors. Which come out eventually.
