It's the best game of the year so far in my opinion. The game perfectly captures the essence of Batman. And the shear amount of things to do is incredible. The fighting mechanics are very well thought out, as were all of Batman's gadgets. The voice acting, story, and graphics were also top notch. Which overall made for a really awesome video-game experience.

Truly, it's a wonderful game, but don't count out other unreleased titles and earlier titles which came out this year. Excellent games will be fighting over that coveted title, with Skyrim and Skyward Sword being some serious contenders.

November 1. Already pre-ordered: just the game, not the "special edition". Are you getting it BigBrotherWise?

Indefinitely. I'm curious as to what this story is about. So far, it looks intriguing especially with the old woman playing the main villain. It's one of those rare games that seemingly put a lot of Hollywood blockbuster movies to shame.

The current generation of tech has given us the true adaptation of Batman, that previous generations couldn't. I remember playing the side-scrolling Batman on NES, from now-defunct studio Sunsoft. 20 years later we have this.

This is like a dream come true. As for the fighting, i've played A LOT of beat-em ups from Double Dragon, 2 Crude Dudes, River City Ranson, Final Fight, Fighting Force, and so forth. The seamless flow system here is probably the best I've ever played with, hands down. It's not clunky at all. And that's just ONE aspect of the game, unlike others where the fighting was supposed to be everything (and still sucked)

I'm hearing a ton of wonderful things about Batman but I never been a fan...I'll grab it for $20 or less.

Looking foward to Battlefield 3, Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 3, and Elder Scrolls: Skyrim.
