Dude they make 90k after 5 years which would be great if the city wasn't so expensive and they're required to live there.
I live 35 minutes outside manhattan 20 minutes from the Bronx and my rent is 850 right now and that's considered a steal for a studio. Most of my friends pay 1300 to rent and almost double to own. In NY it's the mortgage that'll get you its the damn association fee which turns out to be as much as the mortgage in a lot of cases.

 

And therein lies the first problem. The second problem is that some people think it's Ok. If ones first thought when they see a young black male in affluent Jewish neighborhood is "potential burglary suspect", then I don't NEVEREVERNEVEREVEREVER want to hear a white person tell me that racism is dead ever never ever again.
