And for those who didn't see the first season it's on prior to the beginning of the 90 minute Season 2 premiere.

 

I'm deliberately avoiding the show until the number of episodes builds up. Then i'll probably get them all in one shot on dvd.

I do that sometimes so I don't have that week plus gap between shows.

After this season i'm thinking there should be 16 episodes?

13 episodes scheduled for this second season. If it gets renewed for another season hopefully they'll up the episode count.

 

12 or 13 are standard for Cable shows. Considering they give you about 15 minutes more story without commercial interruption that's fair.

 

There isn't a great deal of mileage you can get out of that concept. I'm not sure what the series is supposed to reveal other than humans running from what was formerly human?

this shit is on TNT, AMC, or some other shit that has commercial breaks (correct me if im wrong)

12-13 episodes is still a joke when u consider that regular network TV shows pump out 24+

im not a math genius but something seems way off there

Still a cable show less commercials and regular tv gets only 22. I guess it they had more sponsors they could run it longer.

 

I guess '24' was only 22 episodes

I think that's the only one actually. Great damn series.

Just saw the first episode of the new Walking Dead and its pretty damn good.

 

This show has been getting a lot of mentions in the media.

Apparently it had one of the highest cable viewings or something like that for a show within the 18-49 demographic or something like that. Forgot what the exact words were when I heard it mentioned.

 

I'd only seen a scene of this show until tonight's season premiere. Now, it's being added to the list along with Falling Skies.

 

It's a good show. It interesting to see people being who they are even in a "civilization as we know it is over" setting. You learn some interesting facts about the zombies and how they operate too. I loved finding out in Season 1 how the zombies are able to tell if you're alive and what they had to do in order to avoid detection. That was some hardcore shit right there.

 

Damn, making me want to check it out since you put it that way.

Sounds like some deep story lines.

 

have seen season one and i like it so glad there is a season two .. was nice to see the first episode

I'm a huge zombie fan and found this show a straight snooze fest.
