http://tv.ign.com/articles/121/1210329p1.html don't know what to say about this one. Given how badass 24, Fringe, and Sarah Connor were, I can see them handling an explosives/bullet/grit ridden show like this :smt023 Let's just hope they don't screw it up and give The Punisher the consistency it deserves
The Punisher was a homicidal, psychopathic vigilante. It's hard to convey that level of X-rated violence on commercial television IMO.
dunno have you seen Fringe before? shit gets pretty gory for network TV Supernatural gets pretty dicey too...people's heads fly off like no thing it's okay for TVs to display nasty levels of violence, but not okay for 'harsh' language like Fuck, or Shit :smt017 i like how they made him a cop also.... that profession seems to be the popular one for TV shows :smt108
I found out about Fringe too late and I've missed a lot of the plot points. Waiting for the DVD. I'll still watch the Punisher, but with a character like that it's about his 'attitude' and the actor who's portraying him. The violence is almost secondary. It's hard for most actors IMO to appear dangerously unpredictable and physically threatening just by their demeanor and body language. The Punisher I remember from the comic books was always fighting the urge to put a bullet through someone's forehead.:smt067
solved hire Kiefer Sutherland from 24 fringe is an awesome show....definitely recommend watching it from season 1 it has one of those continuing story line things going on
This show is going to suck if they don't put it on cable or at the very least FX. I like real language and the occasional fucking scene like in Game of Thrones or Dexter.
Keifer Sutherland is one of the scariest 'regular' looking dudes who's ever been on TV. I def got the vibe Jack Bauer was down for whatever, willing to do it to whomever.
