Quit watching movies Ches. In major cities people know to stay the fuck out of things. That's how innocent people end up dead. And truthfully I wonder where anyone was to say stop when she assaulted him and went over the counter. Not a fricking peep but he defends himself and something had to be done? Come on.

 

Uh, I rarely watch movies, DK. And you just asked the same question I did: WHY didn't anyone standing at the counter when the woman got mouthy and started over that counter, stop her? That's what I commented on in my original post! I saw NO ONE reach out and try to stop the mayhem as it was happening!

Maybe you're right - you never know who's carrying a knife or a gun, and it's risky to get in the middle of things. And as a woman, I would be reluctant to get into something when anyone, even another woman, is flying high on adrenaline because I would be overpowered. But I can't find fault (as others have) with the one person who did try to do something, even if it was ineffective.

Yup. That shit is no joke. Happened in Dunkin Donuts last summer. A bunch of teenagers came in loud as hell and some older white dude(his race is important for the story) tells the group of young black kids to settle down. It was around the hipster part of Harlem that they've rebuilt. I guess the older guy was showing off for his date when one of the kids walks over to him and slaps him across the face and tells him to apologize. The kid had to be about 6'1 and had some jail muscles(hood people know the difference) and the older guy was around 5'9 maybe 5'10 and frail. He was about to get up when he saw the kid's friends get quiet and started looking. Well I guess he took too long and the kid started beating the shit out of him.
Should of kept his mouth shut or left.

 

All that woman did was make him look worst because her screaming bloody murder on camera just makes him look like the bad guy regardless of how it started. Perception is a funny thing.

 

LOL, because people are seeing her as just simply being hysterical. Even though her intentions are good.

The bottom line is every person will react differently in these situations, they attacked the wrong guy that day and paid the price for it.

Trust me if someone had tried to intervene with that rampaging, loud mouthed fool and her sidekick they would have turned on that person and tried to instigate something as well. Look how they were acting.

First order of business, they should have kept their hands to themselves, second order of business, they shouldn't have crossed the counter going after the employee, third order of business they wanted to be treated like women, act like women and not mannerless brutes.

They acted all big and bad and then got subdued by the person they were threatening. They got their just deserts. You come after someone expect to get dealt with.

 

Which just goes to show you about the mentality. This isn't tiddlywinks, where just saying please stop it will work.

Exactly. Wonder if she would be screaming so loudly if those two bulls were behind the counter kicking and stomping on him after they jumped it. Things that make you go Hmmm.

 

That is probably the only thing this video will show that will work against him. Well, will be curious to see how this ends up for him as those two women definitely were in the wrong.

 

I just can't stand when people get hysterical in situations like that and do absolutely nothing to help resolve it except make a bunch of noise and make fools of themselves in the process. If she really wanted to do something she should have grabbed a phone and called the cops. Sitting there screaming like a banshee accomplished what exactly???

And I'm sure if the genders had been reversed the cashier wouldn't have even been charged.

 

They should have never jumped over the counter. That's crazy. I hope he gets off without going back to jail but, he was on parole so, I don't know. I agree with jorden c, if he hadn't kept beating them, then it wouldn't have looked so bad.

I don't think those women were expecting him to do anything, certainly not like that. I mentioned this to my co-worker and, He also thinks the guy had a right to defend himself. I think maybe he could have let up, once they were down but, my co-coworker said, you never know if they would have got back up. I'm not sure, it looked like he whacked them pretty good.

Either way, hopefully they learned a valuable lessson.

 

ROFL, my sentiments as well bro, once they jumped that counter they are a threat to the employees and the employees have to defend themselves. This guy was in his full rights to do so.

The funny thing is when they jumped the counter, I bet they thought he was running away from them, little did they know what was in store.

I hate to say it but he is going to get convicted.

Once they jumped the counter he had a right to defend himself with his fists.

When he went and got a crow bar, if he hit them once maybe he would still get away with it.(mosy likely plead to assault)

They were both down on the ground and there were a number of people behind the counter with him. He was rational enough to answer back to one of his co workers, but then hit one of the women again when they were both out of view of the camera so it would appear they were on the ground.

In Canada that would be assault, assault causing bodily harm,aggravated assault, assault with a deadly weapon. With prior convictions for violent offences he is going to jail. You cannot act on the assumption that someone has a weapon. Sad situation really.

Will also depend on the extent of the injuries to the two "women"

 

Well I hope he gets next to no time, if any at all, a good lawyer would have this guy walk free.

This is what the world has come to now, people attack you and when you defend yourself, they are made the poor, abused victims. W.T.F.

Everyone knows had they not stepped behind that counter and came after him, none of this would have occurred, they precipitated the entire situation from the start.

You don't get to attack other people and then cry foul about how they respond.

Keep your god given body parts to yourself and that would not have taken place.

The guy got out of prison, trying to do the right tying, working an honest job and had to come across those two that night while just doing his job. A fukin shame. SMDH.
