dont know what to say about this one

he's being charged and was held on 40k bond for defending himself against 2 women that could have done serious damage to him if he did not.

on the other hand, you aren't supposed to beat someone to death like he was doing, especially when they're already down.

like some comments said on the site tho, if those were two men and he did that, it would be okay. Another comment said if he was a woman, and they were two guys coming around the counter followed by severe beatings, she would have been a hero with no charges.

interesting case indeed. Not sure why the woman yelling 'stop' wasn't yelling when those two butch mothafuckas pursued that guy tho. No one cared then??????

Well its the general idea that women are entities to protected and men are to feared.
Ever wonder why its "women and children" first opposed to children first when organizing evacuations or rescue missions?
Unfortunately this will go to trial and a jury will side against him. His only saving grace is that they were two ghetto chicks who started it and lack the feminine quality to be seen as female.

And that idea of beating someone when they're down has always been bs especially when its two attackers. Its complete fight or flight you rarely have the state of mind to think logically or rationally when your safety is in danger.
No one knows if they had anything in their pockets. While he's doing the "right" thing they could be pulling out a weapon to hurt him with. He surprised them with that rod and had every right to protect himself. People watch way too many movies thinking this shit is textbook. Like the saying goes better to be judged by 12 than carried out by 6.

once the adrenaline rushes, it's hard to control yourself in competition, let alone in a situation like you demonstrated. That could help the case go his way, but the rule of thumb is that you are supposed to inflict a degree of damage inflicted or attempted to be inflicted upon yourself. If a guy slaps you, for instance, you're not supposed to break his arm or slit his throat (one of the browns at my new academy made mention of this as well, so that we stay aware of the judicial impact of our training and aggression). Guidelines like this are in place for a reason, but like you said, they could have had weapons or god knows what.

He was really fighting for his life but people don't see that, because they were female. If they were two muscle-bound gymrats, and he kept beating them down, no one would care. All that they would see are the physical characteristics of 'big dangerous black men.'

But that's the problem this isn't fighting in the school yard anymore. This shit is real. I'd rather take my chances in court because if dude punches me in the face I doubt it will stop at just me punching him back and running away. I refuse to give anyone the chance to dig in their pockets or run to their car. It takes the cops a minimum of 5 minutes to get to a scene even in good areas. What the hell are you suppose to o in the mean time?
The judicial system is just another coercive apparatus of the rich and powerful to keep poor people down. If you have a good enough lawyer you can justify shooting an unarmed man in the face at 20 ft away.

I keep watching the video and thinking what could he have done. No one stepped up to help dude and he was in an enclosed place. I would have been scared too. Normal people aren't trained to manage force like cops are.

it's sad but that's how american courts are. And you're a black man at that, so you know there's a chance you're going to get some bum justice. Add a rap sheet for manslaughter and you may as well pack your bags and and toilet paper.

Lawyers are so devious and the court system is so screwed:p

the fact that this guy is facing charges and was held goes to show you

The more I think about it the more I think he'll walk just based on who the" victims" were and the fact he was at work and they attacked him. Truthfully I hope those two animals get charged.

they basically jumped him while no one helped

    dont you love this country?

still...he's being held on bail and the cops charged HIM with felony assault

he's not serving hard time yet, but the fact that he has to go through that even tho he was the victim is just awful

reminds me of the opening (and best) scene from Con Air, when Nick Cage gets jumped by 3 guys and ends up killing one. When you're getting jumped, your life is in danger and like you said, you may not stop because it's like kill or be killed.

Unfortunately lawmakers dont get put in those situations, so they can create rules and laws without firsthand knowledge (as usual)

So true. Which is why I don't get how we allow people who don't live like us to decide what's best for us. Its like being lead by a general who has never seen war. Complete bs.

    basically

while the military generally appreciates merit, ability and field honors (therefore basing promotions on such aspects among others), the civilian world doesn't and puts people into lawmaking positions based on communication skill (ability to lie), networks, popularity and school pedigree. In turn we get horeshit laws and no common sense. Why is a guy that gets jumped put on 40k bail?:smt095

"Police have charged the cashier, identified as Rayon McIntosh, 31, with felony assault, along with criminal possession of a weapon. Both women were charged with menacing, trespass and disorderly conduct. McIntosh is being held at the Manhattan Detention Complex on $40,000 bail, according to the Department of Correction website....

...McIntosh is due back in court Oct. 18."

    ...
"I don't know him as that type of person," his step-mother told DNAinfo...."

Just so you know, it all began because he was just doing his job...

"Darbeau is clearly heard cursing at McIntosh after the cashier told her he had to scan a $50 bill to make sure it was authentic before he would give them their food."

She then slaps him...and jumps the counter?! He had every right to defend himself. No telling the fear he may have felt that they may have weapons on them.

    He already did...

"Rayon McIntosh served more than a decade in prison after being convicted of shooting and killing Oshan Litchmore, 17, a classmate at Bronx's Evander Childs High School in 2000, when he was only 19 years old. The two teens were outside Macy’s at the Galleria Mall in Westchester when they got into an argument. The fatal bullet passed through Litchmore and hit an 8-year-old passerby in the leg.

McIntosh, who presently lives in the Bronx, was sentenced to 10 to 12 1/2 years in prison. He was paroled last March and has been working in the Village McDonald's since then, according to police sources.
    ...

...The owner of the McDonald's franchise, Carmen Paulino, said that McIntosh "no longer works for my organization."

“I am extremely disturbed by the events captured on tape and am concerned for those injured. The actions of this individual are unacceptable and not characteristic of my employees. This individual no longer works for my organization," she said.

"Operating safe, welcoming restaurants is my top priority. I am fully cooperating with authorities in the investigation.”

And in a statement, McDonald's said that: “the violence in this video is alarming and reprehensible.

"We strive to ensure that our McDonald’s restaurants are safe and welcoming for our customers," the company added. "Our franchisee is fully cooperating with authorities in the investigation.”

let me rephrase that...hard time for this latest incident :smt039

of course, McDonalds is not going to lambaste ignorant ghetto mothafuckas for jumping over the counter (safety?), slapping their cashiers (safety?), or ganging up on employees to administer beatdowns (safety?)

they'll probably fire the guy since the white lady is telling him to stop repeatedly

he made her feel uncomfortable while fending off attackers (sorry) while she peacefully waited for her 3 big macs and supersized fries (as 2 hairy butches double dutched over the 3-foot counters)

Uh, no shit Sherlock. I posted it because before anyone feels too sorry for him, he's a bad-tempered bad-ass, already.

Btw, what part of.."the owner of the McDonald's franchise, Carmen Paulino, said that McIntosh "no longer works for my organization." did you miss?? :smt039

I heard about this first incident when I was younger. I grew up in that area. It was a huge deal since shootings don't happen in White Plains too often. For a city its relatively violent free. But dude served his time so that shit shouldn't even come up. Sad he had to lose his job. What should he have done? Prayed and hoped they wouldn't hurt him? We are being conditioned to be helpless in this country.

Well he should have reasoned with them. Didn't you know black men aren't suppose to fight back. Didn't you get the memo? lol
