simpsons on the chopping block ?

    And they'll still be making way more money then most other voice actors(who make shit for money). But I would probably trip if they cut my pay too.

    lets hope the writers make just as much because they are the real backbone of the show. a bad script will tank a show in a heart beat

    The show doesn't accumulate the same kind of revenue as they use to since the show lost a good deal of popularity. Also, you have to factor into those who are part of the production company, such as artists, writers, and other roles which make the show. They make significantly less than the VAs, and they weren't asked for a pay cut. It may seem cruel, but I think in the end, it justify the means.

    Also, and as I stated before, I doubt they are contracted to solely work on the Simpsons as they are flexible voices and can be carried over to other animated shows, even if they have small supporting roles or additional voices. $4million is enough. They're not taking an 80% paycut. That would be a problem right then and there.

    Actors agreed to 30% pay cut.

    Damn. I was hoping they finally pulled the plug.
