What makes you happy?

Wow... I have occasionally wondered what that would be like... I think it's like with anything, when you find someone who understands what you're going through, or where you have been. Sign language is really beautiful. To the observer, it does seem like art (like dancing with the hands, with deep meaning) - do you feel like you are performing or making art forms, or are you just talking?

I think we all find a kinship with other people who share a common language, whether spoken, sign, or interest-based... (arts, science, math, health, music... etc.)...

 

When I'm signing with friends, I'm just talking. Some sign different than others so it may seem more artistic in regular every day conversations...

But, it's also an art form! There's sign language poetry, jokes, stories, everything =). ( http://www.d-pan.org/ is a good example of the artistic side of the language)

 

- Eating good food
- My internet connection
- My family and friends
- Getting a text, email or IM from someone I'm fond of
- Buying new clothes, shoes, accessories etc. I feel good when I look my best
- Dogs/Puppies
- Receiving compliments and giving them
- Liking someone
- Having some money
- Old School Hip Hop

 

Things that make me happy:

Reading- anything, everything
Drinking coffee on my front porch
Great conversations with friends
Laughter
Puppy love
the theater
singing (at home, in front of others- doesn't matter)
Cooking
A great glass of wine
Hugs
Long conversations in bed with the bf when we're wrapped around each other
clean laundry
listening to Tori Amos

Helping someone who really needs it

That was one of the first things I listed. You didn't notice it.

I wanted to participate, then noticed the crap that was being offered from the BM side of the spectrum compared to all of the beauty that the WW were offering.
