I don't think I ever got 'hazed' here. I found it quite comfortable and welcoming. Which is good, because I'd be sad if I'd missed out on meeting such awesome personalities. My advice to newbies (on any forum) is to go slow. Join in conversations, but don't try to muscle in and take over. Don't try to rub your personality or views in everyone's face right from the word go. Take it easy, let people get to know you, then slap 'em in the face with your point of view and beliefs...but make sure they're accompanied by appropriate funny gifs (or a sexy one to distract people from you shitty post :smt043).
