That you lump child support in with bad investments and bad spending says alot about you. If you can reproduce you can support your child no matter where they live don't put that off on the taxpayers..

I think goodlove means if someone puts themselves in a position where they are forced to pay child support, by having children out of wedlock or getting divorced, it reflects overall poor decision making.

If you get deadbeat and they don't pay what that court has told them (be it man or woman) one simple form filled out and filed gets wages garnished. Iti is really very simple. I realize that you had a bad experience in that respect during your own divorce, but that still doesn't make it appropriate to judge all women by the apparently low standard set by your ex-wife. My divorce was not pleasant, and it cost me, but you don't see me bashing men every time the subject of divorce or child support is brought up. If you don't learn to move past all that, you're stuck wallowing in your own self-pity and anger... which is no way to live IMO.
