Funny you should say that about women who are not in good shape as they age. I could say the same thing about men as they age. I have to think that in this day and age of physical fitness and good health, older women would want to keep in shape. It's a pleasure to see an older man who keeps in shape.

 

Usually when I run into women my age (31) or older they seemed to get offended when a guy my age or older date younger. They don't want younger women dating the older guys, then again the older women don't want to date the older men either.

2-7 age difference is generally accepted of course there are exceptions to the rule(s). Have a child? add 3 years for those under 30, add 5 over 30.

Just see any post I made about being older and having children or where I called pussy dusty. You think I was talking about them personally... This false sense of community that happens when I say something I find extremely funny.

Men naturally want younger women usually because they desire to have children. Just because modern science allows women to delay child birth until their late 30's is no cause for doing so, but they do it anyway.

Age is a relative thing to me.

I have never set an age range.
Regardless of age, I look for the elements of intellectual and emotional stimulation that attract me to a man.

Now, if we are speaking strictly for a good romp in the hay, then I have to say again age is irrelevant. Experience becomes paramount which may exclude younger men in their 20s and therefore narrows the age bracket, but it may also exclude any older man that has not learned the art of how to give sexual pleasure to a woman.

I have been on a few dates with a guy that turns out is 12 years younger then me. He doesn't look it, but he insists he didn't tell me his real age because he believed I wouldn't give him the time of day. He is adorable, really sweet a gentleman and his maturity is far beyond his date of birth. I have to add, when I first met him he was gorgeous to look at (still is ofcourse).

I stopped dating him at one point when I found out his age because I felt it was wrong on my behalf. At my age I am ready to settle down and didn't think at his age he would be.

We recently ran into one another on a night out I was having with the girls, I turned and saw him just standing against a wall watching me. We struck up a conversation and he convinced me to go out with him on another date. We get on so well, he is such a gentleman and he seems so sincere. I will see where it takes us, but seeing him does make my heart skip a beat as he is such a hunk. Age is just a number I guess....

I have almost always dated younger, but never that much younger. I am learning that some people DO just like to date older and don't have the attraction for people their age.

 

I have no qualms about age I think I prefer older women because there's a certain level of sophistication and intellect that I feel that is on my level. It's also very sexy for a woman to carry themselves like that.

Young girls are fun but lack life experience.

 

I am 37 but nobody believes it when I tell them - I am usually guessed to be about 28.

I prefer to date older men, given recent experience - 10 to 12 years older than me, provided they are tall, well-built and not out of shape (don't have to be body builders lol)... they usually act younger than their age and don't have kids, but I like that they are that much older because they have were born in a different decade and have a lot to teach me...

Overall, I would prefer to date between 35 to 50, but I might date as low as 32 or so, depending on the person. Haven't encountered anybody my age recently though... they're all married around here (at least the decent ones)! I figure somebody has to get divorced sooner or later lol... Not sure how I would deal with kids though - maybe if he had one kid it would be okay (if I liked the kid too).

Really do like those older "incurable" bachelors though (their independence, I think)... but there's a reason they never got married in the first place, and I tend to be idealistic and think I can be the "one" to capture their heart.
