No that would most certainly not work for me. I detest people who call attention to themselves in my presence without a really good reason, and that would not be considered a really good reason, that would absolutely be the quickest way to get me to exit the area. But I'm very private about things I consider personal, and I don't think those things belong in a spot light. Not to mention it just strikes me as gratuitous grandstanding, which I find distasteful.

 

I'm not sure if I should applaud his bravado or feel embarrassed for him. It was kinda cute though. I'm a hopeless romantic and I would've been flattered. He was funny at the end, all sprawled on the ground after she kissed him.

I think there's something to be said for youth when it comes to things like this. I think every young chick loves the idea of some guy willing to publicly declare his feelings for her.

I guess I respect a dude who would be willing to bare all like that.

 

it did not look spontaneous at all with the cameras present...she was a good sport about it...i highly doubt he got anything more out of it than the hug and kiss on the neck...

i am a sucker for a man willing to make a fool of himself for me...flattered would be the best description...of course it always helps if the interest is already mutual...

 

I've been on the receiving end of some of those types of displays when I was much younger and I was mortified. I do not like such public displays, stuff like that belongs behind closed doors with me. I seriously wouldn't date someone like that, and I'd give them a serious 'cease and desist' warning as well.

Babe, you know that I'm not against romance, but that's just not romantic to me, it's uncomfortable. Romance is a private thing, and with me it better stay that way. But I'm not big on displays in general, I don't care for flowers and I don't like to receive gifts from people. I also wouldn't be comfortable dating someone who is in the public eye, I tried that once and having people around all the time was something I just couldn't deal with. But then I also don't get the concept of idolizing someone, seems ludicrous to me.

 

You are quit unique sweetheart. I find most women love open displays of affection. Maybe not that over the top but flowers being sent to work or public proposals. It announces to "the world" how a man feels.

 

I am definitely one of those "most women!" I would love a public proposal, and I like (modest) open displays of affection. I love it when a guy is really happy with his lady and he's not afraid to show it.
