I love wine! Love it! I enjoy a really good Malbec. It has to be good and jammy. I also really enjoy Shiraz that is spicy. Yum! If I am drinking white in the summer I enjoy a good fruity Pinot Grigio. Yum!
LOL!! Yeah wine can sneak up on you if you, not careful. Last year my co-worker, who I helped with some computer issues; grilled some porterhouse steaks and, made a salad. We ate the steak & salad with glasses of Pinot Noir and, he insisted we finish the whole bottle. I guess it's better when you drink it fast after opening vs. re-corking it and, saving it for another day but, I was buzzing.
Agree with all that. I'm a wino....what can I say. :smt102 Also I like chilled Prosecco in the summer with some berries popped in it. And Pinot Noirs.
I like wine but for a while now make me feel sick .. (not drunk sick lol) still trying to find a wine that does not make me like this .. i still drink it but not often ..
My co-worker told me that anything with a cork is a must. He also said it must be over ten dollars. I don't know how true that is but, so far I haven't got sick over a $20.00 or above bottle of wine.
I don't think it is how expensive is the wine ..ok i know more cheap wine not the best and can make you drunk faster lol but with any wine i had no problem before ... have started this to happen about a years ago
Ah Love you woman! Me and my beloved have a running joke about Presecco He gets confused about Prosecco and Prosciutto! He always says say "Are we drinking or are we eating?" I say " I am a vegan......claearly we are drinking" I loves me some Prosecco! I went to a high falooting wine and cheese tasting and NOBODY could tell the diff between the Dom and the Prosecco!
We could be dangerous A! How far is Alberta? not that far! Its called study week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is not true! Many good wineries are no longer using corks as it does not keep the wine as long and it is a green issue. There are a lot of good $10 table wines that are good for dinners or a night cap. Don't let the wine snops turn you off!
That is very funny on the Dom and Prosecco. I despise champagne. If you make me toast with it I just tip it and touch my lips in it to fake it. So surprise I love sparkling wine. Just different to me. Champagne to me tastes like dust. There is a pic floating of me grimacing at a funtion after I drank a taste of champagne. Yuck.
That's funny because the guy who told me about this is a bit of a snob. I had no clue so, I figured he knew what he was talking about.
I hate snobby people. Just drink what YOU like. The rubbery corks just won't fit back in the bottle, like the other corks, if you aren't a magician. I bought these flip lock bottle stoppers made by Zyliss and they are awesome. After I have opened a bottle of red though I don't let it hang about too long. http://www.amazon.com/Zyliss-Bottle-Stoppers-Various-Colors/dp/B003XNA4AW
Yeah, Chianti is pretty good, though it's kind of stout. My co-worker said it's supposed to be good with pasta.(something I don't each much of anymore) Thanks, that's just what I need. It is a PITA trying to stuff that cork back in the bottle LOL!!
I had 2 glasses of wine today at a friends house and didnt get sick ....i had the same wine another time and was not feeling well after it is weird
SOOO cosign on this - Even the up to date wine snobs know that. Btw, I just wanted to inform you that you used a Swedish slang word for penis. LOLz
