hell yeah. There have been only 1 1/2 black men in the media trying to tell both sides of t6he story. Michael basiden (the 1/2) and Tariq nasheed. Tariq be going off on BW when its warranted. MB... well he tells it but he put a lot of sugar on it.

 

Absolutely on the mark. It's the same thing with any -ism, you have to be aware of it, but you don't have to wallow in it. Take people as they come, and live life on your on terms

 

I think its reached a point where a lot of brothas that would have even given a damn just said "eff" it and just live their lives and can't be bothered with the whole subject any longer, it just becomes repetitious and serves what purpose in the end, only ending up right back where it started and the beat goes on.

Think about it, you never hear this nonsense in the Hispanic community, Asian community, White community, Native American communities.

Yet even folks who aren't aware of black issues could probably recite something they heard from one of the major media outlets on this subject matter.

I compare it to the Yankees hat, everyone may not be a fan or know what the heck baseball is, but it seems everywhere the NY logo can be found globally. .

My outlook has always been this is the allotted time I have on earth and I'm not wasting it on endless drama. Hell no. I don't do drama so that is a nonstarter. Which is why I'm so nonchalant about the whole BM vs BW thing, who benefits from that, what good comes of it, what does it accomplish, does it leave any positive traits in its wake.

I know the world isn't rainbows and marshmallows out there, but just live your life in a way that makes you happy, as long as you aren't bringing harm to others, do you.
