Getting raped is a figure of speech when no actual raping is involved

you come from an older generation tho..

In our playful generation, rape can mean you got a remarkable ass kicking while playing halo, or manhandled by a pack of wild females at a party

it's not that serious...but some people just have a knack for the dramatics

Why do women always think when a man disagrees with them then the men must be asses or jerks? I have heard women say they would rape chris brown when he was like 16 and i am sure they were kidding. I mean a guy's croatian friends says if he visits the girls will rape him, BIG DEAL i am sure they didnt mean it literally jeez.

Actually this made a ton of sense...

    ...example.

I bought an HP Touch pad two weeks before HP announced it was going to discontinue them. Then they sold them joint for 99.00 a pop, while I got raped paying 600.00 for mine.

Yep especially along the Dalmatian Coast.

Personally I've never heard of this "Croatian women love black men thing" Do they even come into contact with black men outside of the odd occasion of those who may play in the professional basketball and soccer leagues there.

Enjoy your time in Hrvatska though bro and let us know what comes of it.

    Jesus tits!

You guys get more and more ridiculous by the damn DAY. You really see NO issue with using the word rape so cavalierly?

I guess it would be asking to much for some of the men around here to have a little more couth.

There's a few forums that I've been to, majority men, and I've seen that word used casually many times.

Its like some people saying the n word as a term of endearment.

I get it, some people are offended by it and there is plenty of history behind the words.

Doesn't make it right and I don't exactly agree with the casual use of it but it is what it is.

In the company of the women here, I would refrain from using any terminology like those I previously mentioned. Besides, I don't use them in the company of men either.

    Like you using 'Jesus tits'.

To some, they might think that's highly offensive due to their beliefs/background and what they view the world as.

Also, the history behind Jesus and what it represents, give it even deeper meaning in one's mind.

People will get upset over various things. Everyone has something that makes them tick.

I agree, LA...which is, I think, is part of the larger problem of trying to have it seen as a serious crime. If I still have to go on the stand and defend the pants that I was wearing when I was raped (I actually had to do this- in college, defend why I was wearing a t-shirt, bra, underwear, and drawstring lounge pants- IN MY OWN DORM ROOM, to an entire courtroom. Fucking ridiculous.)...and the guy's lawyer actually tried to play it off like 'see, she was wearing drawstring pants, she wanted it!' Oy!

I wish that people would consider the language they use before they use it... certain words are just too much, and it wouldn't kill people to be a little more sensitive. Using the n word, or calling something someone finds 'stupid' or 'distasteful' "gay" is another one that gets me. Calling a guy a 'pussy' because he won't do something. Words have power, and I think part of being a responsible and enlightened society is recognizing the power of those words and using them appropriately- or not using them at all, if necessary. We are all guilty of it, however...but recognizing it, acknowledging it, and moving forward would go a long way.
