Exactly! I can always tell when a dude hasn't been in enough fights because they actually think shit can work out like a movie. I'm not saying martial arts can't work but I'd rather not find out. Mothafukas from BK use to go around giving strangers a buck fifty just because and if you tried to fight back 5 dudes would start poking you. i remember penn and teller's show about whether or not martial arts was a rip off, for self defense. it's an interesting watch indeed.

it just depends on the situation tho. If you're in a one on one conflict where there aren't any guns or weapons involved, training would definitely help. Those aren't the conflicts im afraid of tho. I'm more concerned about this pack mentality, where groups of young thugs like to roll on mothafuckas just for GP. that's when ur better off carrying a concealed weapon. More often than not, that's the kind of fight i'd get into, as guys generally don't target me when they're alone.

So yeah I just stick to doing jiu jitsu or MMA in a controlled environment.

 

Exactly. I'm the biggest advocate for the second ammendment. You could be 6'8 and 300 lbs and it won't mean shit if dude even has a .32 or even a blade. One poke and its all over. I'm not saying to walk around scared but be aware cause its not a game these days.

Shit one of the biggest known gangstas around my area from Mt.Vernon(if you don't know about it look it up) got done in by some 17 year old looking to make a name for himself. That's why I stay where the white people are. Fuck the clan I'm more scared of other blacks

every time I size up a dangerous looking opportunity, i take into consideration whether or not dude's got a gat

face it..many people either got no fight game or are afraid to rumble. always looking for the advantage, a firearm comes into play. why get beat up by some guy with extensive hand-to-hand training, when I can just shatter a kneecap with a bullet?

I think why we don't have a lot of black on black crime threads is because the men on this forum or the men this forum attracts are men who avoid that shit at all costs. We don't indulge it and since we avoid by simply staying away from majority black areas it doesn't come up.

The black community in America is a lost cause. Sorry to be the one to say it but its true. We CAN NOT and WILL NOT unite or support each other on anything real. We can march for a cop shooting but let someone try to organize people to vote or to volunteer at an after school program no one is around for miles.

in the areas of philly i frequent, the chinese stores for example, don't have any sorts of glass or metal partitions between workers and customers in mixed or white areas. You could literally jump over the counter and snatch all kinds of shit if you were grimey, because everything is open and easily accessible.

go to a black neighborhood here, and the same stores have bulletproof glass, bars, steel doors, and a little cubby where dude slides out your food when it's done. shit's retarded.
