I wish I knew what I know now back then(relationship version)

    I wish I knew how much work a relationship is. I mean simply not looking enough gets you into a "why are you ignoring me" talk.


    I also wish at times I could put on my buddy hat and the boyfriend hat at will. oh want to talk about something I don't care about let me put on my buddy hat and tell you I don't care about it. want to have sex boyfriend hat back on!

    In a relationship you will have to have talks about things you don't care about, and so is your partner. If you don't want to, then just stay buddies (or pretend you are listening, but you better be good, lol).

    A relationship is a give and take, do you think your gf cares about everything you talk about? Probably not.
    If its important to you, she will listen. If she is not willing (or you for that matter), then its probably not a relationship meant to be.

    On the other hand, I find the best relationships are a mix between buddy and lovers.

    I've learned to say uh huh, yea, that's pretty bad or that's pretty good. The secret is too sprinkle it around every so often but once in a while the dreaded "what did I say" comes

    I do that all the time with my mother in law, because of the lack of attention she recieves from her husband she became one old hating ass bitch. I dislike my father-in-law because he isn't man enough to keep his woman in check instead he just keeps face pointed at ground while she goes on and on about nothing.

    If I knew then what I know now. I would have dated less and never been in a relationship at all because the only thing I got from relationships was the knowledge to pick more wisely and how to deal with another person but if I had all this knowledge already then what would be the point of going through all the nonsense.
    If I could talk to 18 year old Andrae all I would say is stack young man and just enjoy time with friends and with family. Oh and spend more time practicing the piano instead of voice you're not that good of a singer lol
