I think it speaks more to my original point that men just don't care as much because I never heard about Britney Spears or Tori Spelling. I guess the attention goes to who makes a big deal about but i'll bet my left nut none of them have to make public apologies for" destroying" their families.
Yes and no because a lot of times women are so focused on being nice they don't allow themselves to be honest and since a lot of women who attract good guys are the ones being approached they aren't always aware of what made it happen. Like one of my good friends thinks that she's always gotten men she wanted because she's" funny" never mind she's 5'8 with an amazing body and long curly auburn hair and blue eyes lol. So she'll tell her 350lbs friend just be yourself and show men how funny you are. Men in that similar situation will tell a dude to hit the gym first then start looking for a gf. But those who know what they are doing are down right deadly its fricking scary. Especially the gold diggers, they have a game plan that'll make most nfl coaches heads' spin.
I don't know the whole story regarding what happened with him and his ex-wife but I don't really see why this should be celebrated. Former Black athlete leaves pregnant (with twins) wife for blonde white woman 12 years younger. Whatever the situation or whatever he's like personally the guy is going to come off like stereotypical scum to a lot of people.
Its funny how no one ever takes the piv that she could have been an unbareable bitch and rather than live a life of suffering that wouldn't have been good for anyone he just plain left. Not saying that happened but its interesting that we always look at the woman as a victim.
You said women never get outed. They got outed by the media just like the men do. Don't change the settings here because the proof doesn't support your argument. Google look up these women and you will see how they were treated. I don't care if you are sitting in your apartment with blinders on, not paying attention or reading the papers. That doesn't mean it's not there. The media hates ALL cheaters. It's easy to pick on them and get the vote against them.......no matter the sex of he cheater.
Fair enough I guess a better term would have been ostracizied instead of outed. It just seems like its a much bigger deal when a man does it. Like I said no press conference to apologize for women.
You're right but I'm just questioning the popular position to always assume the woman is the victim in every single circumstance
Tori yep...but the other two, while deservedly villified, I believe they are a different scenerio. Jada "stole" Will from his ex, as did Britney with Kevin. ( and Angelina Jolie and Fantasia and Alicia Keys). Kevin's woman was preggers too, so he bears the brunt like Tiki. Britney was essentially the role of Tiki's intern.. Which incidently....I just realized we are not giving her any flack for, which is unlike me! Hmm, temporary lapse in judgment, I have to back track and add that she's a POS x 2 - she KNEW he was married and wife was pregnant. Ugh, they are truly disgusting! "Keep ya damn legs closed to married men!" - Nene Leaks"
I dont recall Tiki giving one? I think you have Tigeritis - his anomaly conference wasn't to apoplogize to his wife, it was to his sponsers and fans. I never see cheating Shaq get villified - hardly any athletes do. Kobe apologized because of the rape allegation (again it was to his sponsers and fans and declare his innocence, not for the wife (she got a 4 mill $ ring as her apology). Im sure as we go along more cheaters will come to mind, lol...I think Liz Taylor began as the mistress in a couple of her marriages....
Sorry wasn't clear. Jada/Marc Anthony and her marriage to Will. Britney and Justin Timberlake and her cheating. His subequent song to humiliate her and the media running with it
In summation: Tiki had an affair (while still married) with that lady he's currently engaged to. Basically gave the big "fuck you" to his wife.
He messed w a former NBC intern, that was probably what tipped the thing into a situation that NBC did not tolerate. Any job that is in the public eye have those rules, your actions may affect them negatively and lower ratings etc. If you risk the ratings with your behavior, then your gone. Right or wrong. He knew that before he ventured into the affair. He is not the first one that has either been fired or forced to step down from official positions after affairs.
As always, Le Dick exercised "proper judgment" once more. When you are on top or have been giving a second chance and you fuck up like that...you're completely gone. And now...expect to see VH1 promoting a new reality show called Tiki's Paradise.
