With some qualification, I'll say that when people don't get what they want in life, they either teach themselves to stop desiring it or lash out in resentment against it.

Other than Appiah and Petty, I don't have much of a problem with anyone listed below. Petty is a fucking idiot who revels in his own stupidity, and to what degree that reflects misogynistic tendencies is a matter of interpretation. Appiah probably just needs a flea bath and some foreign aid.

It has been very negative around these parts, but this board tends to go through that from time to time.

My gripe is people who flip flop with you. One minute they're cool with you and the next minute, they're mean. I know people have their moods, but shit, show some consistency.

 

Mikey, LA asked you not to make that list. No good to come of it. Think about it and what you set off here. Other people have been hurt by your actions.

Some people thought it was great that I made the list which exposes the corruption occurring on the site. I don't care about how Appiah feels about me anyway. The only reason why I appreciate that he's here is so I can sit here and laugh at his posts.

There isn't a consensus on this, some people agree about my actions and some don't. It's always been like that on this site and that wasn't just with me. The same thing can be applied in politics, with Obama's policies. Also, other people have done the exact same thing that I've done on this thread and you didn't say anything.

This is what you do in the real world. If you know there is a problem, with your car for instance, you acknowledge it, and then take steps to repair the problem. That's what some of us are doing now.

You are either with us or against us to make this place better and prevent women from leaving because of reasons like this.

 

I know you think you are on internet security detail but you didn't expose anything. Anyone with eyes and a brain can see what goes on here. You just made trouble as is your way. Knock it the fuck off. No one appreciates you stirring. The way to get back on track is respect and good sharing/exchanges of ideas between members.

 

You're avoiding the point, I wasn't the only one in this thread who did it. I actually got commended in here for doing it, so just don't talk about it. You don't agree, but the majority of us don't have to think that way.

I'm not even demanding that everyone co-signs with my point of view, I'm just making it clear with citations that clearly reinforce what cannot be argued or debated. There is no point for you to get upset at me about this.

I know, it's just the way I am. And I like History, and it's taught in school. One of my teachers told me that the past is "sacred" and shouldn't be forgotten. I think it also may tie into the belief that Americans have short memories and don't remember things from a few months or years ago.

I think JC just singled me out instead of everyone else because maybe she and others perceive that I'm in a position where I should just "know my place and/or social standing" and never speak up.
