That's true. Women like Gina Davis can never be a 2 but look gorgeous at an 8. Height plays a major role as well

While I understand your point, there are definite exceptions. I've seen my niece-in-law take out her MUCH larger husband a number of times. They are both very advanced martial artists (he's in the Hall of Fame), but if she's picked up a new trick or style he hasn't yet (they both go to Southeast Asia every other year), she can lay him out and FAST. She's about 5 feet tall and probably weighs 100 pounds soaking wet.

I think that a size 6 Aussie is about the same as a size 4 here. We have three sizes smaller, and the "in size" in Hollywood is a 0 or 00. When you consider that some of those women are 5'6-5'10, it's pretty clear that they are skin and bones.

I am about 5'3" and weigh around 104 pounds. A size 00 is three sizes smaller than I am. I figure what, 10 pounds a size? I'd have to weigh 74 pounds with my bone structure to fit into a 00. That cannot be healthy or particularly attractive

A double zero has to be unhealthy.... Like you said, you would have be skin and bone to be that small...

I would never want to be that thin, I actually like having a little curve to my body,,,it makes me feel sexier than how I felt when I did ballet and was too thin........

That's a total exception because if you took cyborg(the best female fighter) against (Anderson Silva or Brock Lesner) the best male mma fighters it wouldn't even be a contest. A trained female against an untrained man sure but against a man as well trained it's just not going to happen.

Chicago is a blast. I was only there for a few days once a few years back, and I had so much fun!

Maybe because when I was in Chi I was alone, and in NY I had was not... Maybe I just needed the right guide, perhaps a local to show me around.

Well, it is an exception, but I've seen it happen with them. He's a southeast asian martial artist, and the only person in the country qualified to teach several of the methods he does. He only teaches other masters. She is from the Philippines and when they go there, she usually stays a few extra weeks to visit family - and generally picks up something he hasn't yet when she does so, just so she *can* lay him out when she gets back. Funny as hell to watch.

I went to Chicago with an ex boyfriend who had lived there, and since he's a musician, he was very up on the music scene there. We did a jazz night, a blues night, a rock night...I had a blast. Having a guide who knows the area that well makes a big difference.

If he's a master at the level you say he is it's doubtful she's going to pick up "new" moves to lay him out. That's gotta be a game they play. At my best physical peak no one 5ft 100 lbs is beating me unless they've so how out trained me but not by some unseen tactic lol

I don't know if it helps, but I saw this chart on a website. Also, from what I understand from some of my ex's, all American sizes are not equivalent. It depends on the brand of the clothing and the marketing strategy of the company. In other words, some companies want to make women feel better so they label their sizing lower than the actual size. The same is most likely true in the case of size 0 or 00. The only woman I know personally who wore a size 0 was a former girl friend who was German. She was very shapely, buxom and hips, but was somewhere between 4'8" and 5' tall.

    US US (L) Australia
    2 X-Small 6
    4 Small 8
    6 Small 10
    8 Medium 12
    10 Medium 14
    12 Large 16
    14 Large 18
    16 X-Large/1X 20
    18 1X/2X 22
    20 2X 22
    22 3X 24
    24 3X 26

She's at his level. They are both masters and both teach.

It is true that a well landed fist could do the trick, but regardless of how much she weighs, the fact that she's a gymnast indicates strength. The gymnasts I've known could outlift a football team.

The sizes here aren't the same as they were when I started high school. Back then a size 10 was the same as a size 4 now. Of course there were no 0 or 00 back then either. The chart Swirlman posted breaks the US/Aussie size comparison pretty well.

Trix if skill level is equal then his physical size trumps his. There's a reason why the military doesn't use as many women for infaltry as it does males. There's a reason why fighting sports seperate men and women. I know it's popular to say women can do whatever men can do and just as well but it's not true kid
