Too Thin to Throw a Punch?

Anyone has a punchers chance, but a punch and a fight are two different things. In mutual combat between two able body people, a man will probably win 98% of the fights. It's not sexism or anything like that, it's just biological reality. That is the reason domestic violence laws favor women over men.

But having said that, there is always an exception.

 

I agree, unless there are weapons involved which can even it up, but yeah...most women in movies don't look like they could beat up their grandfathers, let alone a young, fit, combat trained villian.

 

I don't think a size 10 was ever considered thin. Just saying.
However, sizes have become larger so a size 4, 10 years ago is not the same as it is today.

When they started the series Nikita earlier this year (or was it last year??) I was always wondering how it was believable that the 98lb woman could kick ass w men 3 times her size.....

Maybe I slightly misinterpreted your statement but I think a great deal of women have that 'crazy-ass psychotic WTF are you doin bitch' in them but don't act on it in the same manner men do when angry. They're more catty with words and passive or aggressive non-physical behavior.

Their sizing has gotta be different to ours, I don't get this thread at all. WTF is a size 0? Smallest size I've ever seen in Australia is 6 and that's crazy tiny.

 

I hope it's different, or else they're all insane and need therapy! :smt043 10 is very small and 6 is tiny (and it's the smallest I've seen too).

 

My sis in law from the USA, is a size 0 there and here she is a 4, which she can not find anywhere here... Unless you go to places like Chanel or other top of the shelf lables. She is very small, did I say small, I mean smmmmallllllll....

So I would think that a six is a size 2 equivalent...

 

I think when it gets to sizes that small, it's gotta have more to do with body structure than fat...?

 

Also I hate to mention, the lucky gal can eat whatever she wants as much as she wants and she never puts on weight and never works out.... She is a phenomenon. But she does look like a healthy thin, not a boney one.

yes Sin, it is about a 6 to 8 there, you do have to go down in sizes over there.

If my jeans here are an 8, I would only need a six there depending on the label ofcourse.

Well you have to consider that when men want see action we want to see a bad ass dude like Jason Statham or Jet Li or Michael Jai White. There is no female equvilant and if there were it would rob her of her feminity. Remember sexy sells and there's nothing sexy about a manish dude beating everyone up.

Cosign. That's why I'm against the idea of female cops or even female firefighters. We all can't do the same jobs. There are physical limitations.
