im surprised anyone watches youth football anyway, besides parents

high school football is as low as I'd go for spectating purposes:eek:

ESPN.go has endless football from HS (especially those florida/texas HS) and up..i dont see them advertising youth league :p

with the socialism word being thrown around, the budget crisis and high cost of running a football program especially when a player get paralyzed during a game.

    see the article and video

I believe that HS football needs to go private . when you read the article then you should agree its not worth it.

I have no doubt about the costs of football. Soccer is very fun tho and a good alternative for athletes that like to run and get physical on fields. I played organized versions of both and was hooked on soccer from the first time I put the shin pads on. Basically what I'm trying to say is that there's life outside football.
