Jamie Foxx did get it for Ray and Sidney Portier for Guess Who's Coming to Dinner but I do see your point.
There are so many great stories to be written. Like a biopic of the first black billionaire who was a corporate investor. I can' remember his name I'm sure you know better than me.
Or a movie on Mayor Dickens or Madaam CJ Walker. I would pay double to see an African epic. I know there are some script writers on here get to it people.

To be quite honest, I don't take it serious though. It's going to be more of a comedy to me. Most Tarantino films are basically dark comedies IMO.

I'm curious to see it because I know it's going to have people blow their lid when it hits the big screen. No doubt, it's going to be the talk of the town and because of that alone, I'm somewhat interested in seeing how f-ed it's going to be.

Considering the history of this nation, and the plot of the film, may God be with us when it's officially released. :smt048

I've got a feeling there's going to be many edits done before the final version makes it to the big screen.


That being said, I don't want to spend my money on it. I'll wait til it hits the internet and download the torrent.

 

A well done film about him. Now that I would pay to see.

 

A black man who made a fortune without drugs or entertainment now that's a fucking film even though the rights might be hard to get. But I would love to see it. If they can make everyone awwww over anti-semite John Nash in a Beautiful Mind I don't see this being hard to make. He was a Billioniare before it became kind of common. In the early 90s late 80s who else could claim that shit in the business world. Warren Buffet maybe Trump and Coca?
