Anyway... Alimony is seldom warranted IMO, & in the cases where it is, it should only be for a limited time. There is no reason why grown women (or men) who are physically able to work shouldn't have to get off their asses & get a job. Between getting a job, child support (if applicable) & wise use of whatever is received in the divorce settlement, it's up to folks to do whatever necessary to take care of business. That is what grown folks do.
