    Forgot a few...

    Athletes (black ones at least, no word on how "lucky" white athletes are) get where they are by luck, not skill, and in case of divorce, the woman is entitled to half your net worth forever, even if the fortune predated the relationship.

    To even bring up the topic of BM travel and non-American women is to invite ridicule, even though most of the desirable and active female posters on this forum are from outside the US, and the one couple whom we know about who got married after meeting on this forum, the wife is from Russia.

    Oh, and all sexy pics of females are airbrushed, but all sexy pics of black men are real.

    Accept all of the above and all will be well.

    Anyway...

    Alimony is seldom warranted IMO, & in the cases where it is, it should only be for a limited time. There is no reason why grown women (or men) who are physically able to work shouldn't have to get off their asses & get a job.

    Between getting a job, child support (if applicable) & wise use of whatever is received in the divorce settlement, it's up to folks to do whatever necessary to take care of business. That is what grown folks do.
