What does the fact that the only men I've had sex with being black have to do with stereotypes or being interested in men as an individuals? Answer: nothing.

I've been attracted to black guys since about age 5 when I had my first school crush. It's just a natural part of who I am, & I don't see any problem with the fact that the majority of the men I find beautiful are black. Just because I'm attracted to BM doesn't mean that the fact that a man is black is the reason I choose to date him. It's also not like I'm attracted to every BM I encounter either. Yes, it starts with attraction, but without compatibility & chemistry it doesn't matter how physically appealing someone is. I have NEVER chosen to date someone based on any stereotype or because I wasn't attracted to him as an individual.

    My computer didn't cooperate either.

I met (& chatted with for a bit) a gentleman yesterday at work who had the most beautiful, deep voice. He also had some gorgeous brown eyes & a wonderful laugh. :D

You can try Vocaroo. It doesn't require an account, but if you don't have one, your voice recording will be deleted within 24 hours. Initially, registering for an account was free, but then last week it became a paying site.

I get complimented on my voice all the time. Like I should do radio, etc. I definitely use it to my advantage when going after women ;)

I've heard that several times. You wouldn't believe. I heard it today from a lady "You have a beautiful voice. Do you do radio?"

No, I wish I did, or voiceover and just leave my 9-5, even though I enjoy it.

For about half my many people have told me over the years that I have a radio voice and I used to want to be a radio personality but I changed my mind in college. My voice is deep but not super-deep like Barry White's. :D

Deep voices are very soothing and comforting. Lying with your head on the chest of a man with a deep voice while he's talking is a little slice of heaven

Swirlman, alright its taken me a few weeks to come to a few thoughts on this one. First off, I want to say that I am sorry I offended you. Im Canadian and race-relations are different here. There isnt as much tension and hostility between black and white people here as there appears to be in other places. I think I need to keep that in mind when I speak here.
Secondly, what I said was not based on stereotypes but human physiology. Forensic scientists and archeologists can deduce what ethnicity a skeleton is because of differences in bone/skull structure. Im sure they arent always correct but correct often enough. This isnt based on racism - its science!
I felt hurt and upset by your being offended as I find racism so very disgusting. If you knew me you would know that I dont mean to be offensive. I apologize.

    In respect. :smt056

Respectfully, I have traveled all over the world and lived outside of the U.S. as well. While people often say that's the case, I have seldom found that to be true. The recent and unfortunate incidence of violence and rioting in the U.K. is just such as example. Yet, at all times, there's insistence that race relations are less problematic. I have also spent an extensive amount of time in Ontario and I find the attitudes there similar to those here in the states. Perhaps, it's different in B.C, but I find most often it's a matter of perspective, depending on whether you are the majority or minority race to whom the question is posed.

I also disagree that there's any basis in science or fact regarding your claim. I believe this is a case of you adding one and one and coming up with a sum of three. One fact doesn't scientifically or logically lead to the proposed conclusion. This leap in fact is based on a careless assumption, simply because scientists are able to identify the race of some people of African descent. There is far to much diversity in people to put any stock in such notions.

This is the same kind of argument put forth by social scientists to "explain" differences between races, and such claims were baseless and racist, regardless of the intent of the person espousing the claim.

I appreciate the fact that you enjoy the voices of people of African origin. It's equally fine to hold any personal beliefs with which you are comfortable. However, I reiterate that you're best served by refraining from using faux science to explain perceived differences on a public forum.
