Ah...but how long ago since any of those TV shows have been on? And remember just because you & I and other comic fans know of these characters because we are into them doesn't necessarily mean most of the general populace knows of them or even ever watched the shows when they were on air or have seen them through video or DVD.
I guess from the 90's and on except for aquaman and wonderwoman. Wonder woman is very well known though.
The only villain that has been said as a definite is Loki. The "mystery aliens" could be any one of various Marvel Aliens from the Skrulls, to The Badoon or as you suggested, the Atlanteans. There is even speculation that the "mystery aliens" could be a varied assortment of aliens from the Marvel Universe all a part of a mercenary army lead by (speculated only) extra added villain, Thanos. Thanos has been mentioned as a possible villain due to the Infinity Gauntlet being displayed at Comic Con prior to the release of Thor as one of the powerful artifacts in Odins vault in Asgard.
I had hoped cage would not be in this. I also hoped for a reboot and a younger person as ghost rider but it is what it is. I liked the character but I find hard to see him placed on the big screen.
Exactly what should have been done. More from the Avengers set:
i do love captain america he doesn't have super powers, a multi-billion dollar enterprise, or anything like that he's like the hero anyone can be with elite-level athletic performance, a cool suit, and a wicked shield.
No. Looking like a latex condom with a giant metallic Frisbee disc don't make it cool. It's his actions that do the job justice.
you always come at people with a conflicting view why is that? why do you have to need to be different all the time
negatory captain america is the pinnacle of human performance any comic nerd knows that he's like the occasional freak 225lb linebacker who just happens to bench 525lbs, squat 750, run the 40 in 4 seconds, possess a vertical leap higher than Jordans, flips and twirls and pivots through agility cone courses like a demon oh and he has some wicked hand-eye coordination too ( i had to google him a bit..he can lift 800lbs supposedly) but he's doesnt have superpowers...he's just like a freak power lifter that weighs 225 or something

He was part of a super soldier project. During that night in Operation: Rebirth, he received a dosage of Super Soldier Serum, which then he went under Vita-Rays which helped stabilized his chemical systems. This contributed to his enhanced abilities. See, he was of pinnacle performance for a human, but this was all due to drugs and a major experiment. Captain America Issue #109
