Excellent points. Which is why there are so few BM/WW interracial movies, etc. White women don't want to see them. And the very few movies/TV shows that do have it, it is always an "issue" or there's some type of struggle to overcome or social ostracizing.

LOL, Hey we can be honest on this forum I would hope, just like there are black men that are truly longing for a sista despite being with a white woman, there are those white women that who once they get older do sometimes gravitate to black men.

Mind you these are women who maybe because of personal uncertainty, overly concerned with perceptions of themselves by friends and family and their wider community just don't have the ability to follow their heart at an earlier point in life.

Not really sure how relevant rap video is. The only "real" part to accept is that the overwhelming majority of white women do not find black men attractive or are interested in them as marriage partners...unless their famous, and athlete, etc.

fact remains that sociological literature as well as common knowledge posit that as WW get older (generally speaking), they're more likely to explore other unpopular options within their communities, partially because they've established a life for themselves separate from outside influences. It's a sad reality if you're really hellbent on only dating ww, but that's how it is.

Not to say that young ww aren't free enough to date bm tho. I've had my share and refuse to buy this 'bm arent sexy' trash after the experiences i've had.

 

Not really odd at all. As they get older, white men become less interested. So therefore they become more open to wider dating spectrum. Plus, they are reinforced by the notion that black men will take any type of white woman. This is seen by the consistent talk/appreciation by black men of "thick" women, women with "meat on their bones", women with some "junk in the trunk", etc... all this translates to, in American culture, is FAT.

Why would the majority of white women be attracted to black men, the majority of black men are not attracted to white women.

Its a two fold equation. Not every black men, heck not most are trying to be with a white woman. Either you are attracted to them or you are not.

I don't think that's all of them to begin with. There are plenty of movies that have interracial elements within them. Also, does it really matter what the exact number is? I would say the number is satisfactory, it isn't small or almost non-existent ever since the first movie was published.

Not wallowing in the victim mentality at all. Have dated WW many times and am currently in a relationship with a WW. It is humorous how a simple assertion of reality, is perceived to be a victim mentality, as if "getting" white women is the holy grail for black men and that any acknowledgment of that makes someone a "victim"...as if something has been taken from them...what would that something be? White women?
