He isn't as in shape as I expected. On a separate note, great job with thunder cats. I'm a bit too young to recall it but this version is a lot better than what I remembered.
So you don't like the more fleshed out background on the characters, huh? You prefer that bare bones simplfied original version better I see. I'll be posting more, just waiting until after the latest episode airs due to the fact a certain character finally makes his official appearance.
It was much better that way. Classic old school cheesiness that you can get hooked in. Not this rush of a gut modern version. It's unforgiving.
Cheesiness is the key word. I love the original, but I'll give this update a chance. As I said way before it debuted, I have issues with some of the character designs but I like the storyline so far.
It looks as if he dropped some weight since filming The First Avenger. The WWII costume also was bulkier than the present day costume also adding to him looking leaner as compared to The First Avenger look.
You're a better person than me. I honestly lost a lot of interest in modern animation. VERY rarely would I find something that would tickle my interest. So, I'll enjoy my nerdom through watching various gaming playthroughs of certain games. The various incarnations of Transformers screamed shitty to me thanks to the anime transition.
fuck..i keep forgetting about this one i've seen all the other Underworlds and do like the whole vamp/lycanthropy thing
More Avengers set photos: Captain America stunt double and "mystery alien" walk through a fight scence. Who the aliens are is under wraps for now & their appearance will be CGI/Motion captured over the stuntman. Early speculation is that it will be the shape changing Skrulls.
And images of a downed "mystery alien" and what appears to be some sort of flying tech that will used by the aliens.
I have to admit that I bias. I don't think this movie will be all that good. I would have preferred the justice league.
Yeah, there was talk of a Justice League movie several years back, but got put on the shelf because of Warner Brothers trying to figure how they were going to introduce the heroes especially since both Batman & Superman were the only ones that had screen time at that point (Batman Begins & Superman Returns) Green Lantern has now been done. Superman is getting rebooted. Batman will more or less be in limbo after Dark Knight Rises. And no word on any other DC heroes up for big screen treatment except possibly the Flash. If they are going to do it then they need to go the Marvel route and introduce/establish whichever characters that they are going to have on the team in solo movies first before putting all together IMO.
I don't agree with this. Many of these comic superheroes are already well known and have had their own live action and animated tv shows. batman(adam west), superman(lois and clark), wonderman, the flash(I loved this show). The green lantern was maybe the only one who needed to be introduce. The avengers are not as well known. The black panther, hawkeye, that one russian chick.
"Mystery alien"? It has to be the Skrulls right? They are the only real alien menace in the Marvel Universe. Even though I was kind of holding out hope, that the Enemy would be Namor And the Atlanteans, attacking the surface world. Oh well, maybe for the sequel.
