Beleive it or not, I think I had the book that I read many years ago as a teen. (Years after it was published) If it's the same book, the book I read noted that kids tended to dabble in same gender sex activities, but they were summed up as games (ie: doctors and nurses, or how far can each boy ejaculate and the furthest was the winner). It was not deemed sexually based.
I recall a chapter on homosexuality and people recited their sexual experiences and it was weird reading it, as teen. (Today to read it as an adult it affects me none.)

As for the video, that whole episode pissed me off. It's from 30 Days, by Morgan Spurlock.
