Read the following quote by the Royal Institute of International Affairs:

"Full control of the drug-trade must be completed in order that the government of all countries who are under our jurisdiction will have a monopoly which we will control through supply...Drug bars will take care of the unruly and the discontent, would be revolutionaries will be turned into harmless addicts with no will of their own." - Royal Institute of International Affairs

It's never ok for a cop to gun down and unarmed person.

The cops gunned down a unarmed gang member. Didn't even shoot to wound him. However it is a lame excuse to riot all over the UK. The Murdoch press are having a field day.

Killing unarmed people isn't breaking laws?

Actually they are breaking the law if they use lethal force. Even in Britain, it's the LAST RESORT for any situation, even anarchistic ones. If they kill an unarmed person, even if they are a gang member, it's really an act of overreaching their own code of conduct. Incapacitate? Yes. Shoot to kill? No.

However, the only exception to that rule would be if the government give the orders and they haven't in this case, paniro. Take my word for it. My father was in law enforcement for three decades and I grew up around people like that since those are the only people my dad associated mostly.

    Who knows anymore?

Quite honestly, it's sooo crazy, even some of the reports aren't true!

Some reported riots in Leeds and Manchester didn't happen, I have friends who were there and they said it was dead! For example a friend who lives in Salford and works in Manchester centre told me there was mainly looting going on.

Even the police confirm that there were only a couple of small disorders in Leeds, a total of 13 arrests through the week! Hardly constituting rioting!

Half the time you wonder what to believe!

What is this shoot to wound or shoot to disarm nonsense?

I dont know about laws in other countries but in Canada if an officer unholsters their firearm it is for one reason and one reason only.

    I know what you mean..

We see that kind of stuff in the US media on the regular...problem is people believe whatever they're told.

The lies they told on the people of New Orleans takes the cake.

I remember reading that stuff. Believe me, I LIVED through hurricane Katrina and I can tell you some of the mess the media spewed were way off. And yet they were ignoring the Danzinger Bridge incident AND the shooting sprees in Algiers in which a group of militias were gunning random people. Sad and distressful. It brought out the worst of people as well as the best of people.
