Greetings, I caught this vid on another message board that is primarily dedicated to men of color discussing their views and experiences in dealing with women of color in the US vs. Non women of color. For the most part they agree with the vid and I do as well from the stand point I have lived it for the majority of my adult/dating life.

Choosing to stick with black women because of color makes about as much sense to me as choosing pennies over dimes for the same reason. Fuck That Shit.

It's crazy, the educated sistas are too independent. These are the women who claim black men can't handle a strong black woman. In most cases they view cooking, cleaning, motherhood, and submission as demeaning. They're so smart, but, too dumb to realize that they can have a career and a family if they are willing to make sacrifices, but, that's the problem, they aren't willing to make sacrifices.

The uneducated sistas are just trifiling and selfish. These are the women who claim there are no good black men even though they go for the thugs. Oh yea, these are the women you see on Youtube fighting at Denny's or 'mic checkin' some dude while they are on the phone or while their kids are crying in the next room. They just want to party and are looking for a free ride, even if that means having a bunch of babies to collect child support.

Not all black women fall into those two categories, but, the majority do. That's why there are a high number of single black women as brothers run to other races to find a good wife.

 

You'll probably get blasted for it since it has been talked about before, it just won't be from me. My reasons for choosing non-black women is that, I'm attracted to them, & black women just aren't attracted to me.

Maybe this shit should be discussed in the Mens Room amongst the fellas here, cause I can only speak for myself (and maybe some of my sistren), and I've stated this countless of times, I don't want to be some BMs consolation prize cause he finds BW to be ______ whatever negative characteristic(s) he deems them to be, so he runs to some non-Black woman.

 

The Op got a point there but black men should be careful not to totally fall for the charm of a WW hook line and sinker because some white women also have agendas and mostly its because their ideal white hubby says her ass is too big and black men say she has a phat ass, so a brotha has got to listen to what the white woman says and you will know if she is in genuinely or because she has to settle for you

I understand the sentiment but I don't think it is quite like that. For example, I go to Store A and the sales people are rude, I get followed by security, the lines are long and I get charged the wrong price. So I decide to go to Store B and customer service is friendly and I find many of the same items that I find in Store A at Store B. Whatever advantages/disavangtes that differentiate Store A from Store B (e.g. Store A may have certain items on sale) it wouldn't be worth it to put up with the disrepect, especially when I could be treated better elsewhere.

Would you look at my decision and say that Store B is a consolation prize?

 

Same principal. A man who doesn't like something about a woman (whether physical or otherwise) can no longer be an ideal man to that woman, if she has any self-esteem and self-respect.

 

I see what you're saying and with your example, no, I wouldn't call it a consolation prize, but coming from my perspective, when you hear BMs complaints, it's almost like if BW "acted better" in their eyes, they wouldn't look at non-Black women is what I'm getting at. Since we're using stores as examples...lol It's like a local store has your favorite candy. They run out, so you go to another store where they also sell your candy, if the original store gets your candy back, you mean to tell me that some dudes wouldn't go back and shop in their local store again?

I think your example is flawed. The problem isn't that there is no candy in the first store. In fact, there is an excess of candy. The problem is that the customer doesn't want to be treated like shit in order to get said candy.

But to answer the pertinent question I think that you were trying to get at i.e. What if the original store gets an attitude adjustment and provides better customer service would some customers go back? I would guess most dudes wouldn't especially if they are enjoying their time with the second store and have developed a loyalty. Some dudes probably would, but those are the same type guys who probably would shop at a 3rd store, 4th store and more no matter what the second store does.

I have to respectfully disagree with your first paragraph. I don't think my example was flawed at all. I was presenting a different perspective as were you. You talked about treatment in the store which I fully understood and I talked about your local store having your favorite candy, mind you, said store is out of it, so you shop at another store that has your favorite candy (candy being what you look for in a woman and the stores being BW vs Non-BW). I wasn't saying that you can buy any candy (an excess as you stated), I talked about your favorite candy. I think we were on the same path, just took different roads.


BW are a lot of BMs first choices, so why wouldn't they want to go back once the store has better customer service regardless if the current store is treating them better? Again, why should they have to travel to another store, when their local store has what they want (again)? They really didn't want to have to go out of their way in the first place, they wanted their local store to have their product all along.
