I want to take this time to post a mention on the horrific deaths of the men of Seal Team 6 who perished this weekend. They are truly the best of the best. Though they will not get any mention here by the anti-military left I honor them and their families. We here in Virginia Beach, Virginia feel that we have lost them as family members too. May God bless these true warriors who have given their all for this country.

The left may be anti-war, but we are not anti-military. I have friends and loved ones who serve. It is the policies of nations, and not the sacrifice of soldiers, which I decry. May the Old Ones welcome them home, may they rest in peace.

    True warriors indeed.

What a lot of people don't know is to be successful in a special forces unit like seal team six, its more of a mental game. You can get any gun happy person to pick up a gun and shoot people. But to be able to make a positive difference, to truly change a person's circumstance for the better, you have to be verse in a lot of things.

Destroying a way of life is one thing but to rebuild is another. Going into a country and help to rebuild that countries government isn't easy. There is quite a few things that special forces do that many people aren't even aware of. Not just the navy seals but many of the other covert operations forces.

Its that mental part that attracted me to special forces when I joined the military after college. UNFORTUNATELY, you do put yourself in harms way and you end up paying the ultimate price, losing your life.

My condolences to these and all the other families who have lost loved ones in the military. It can be a thankless job sometimes.
