I think time would be better spent trying to help the upcoming generation rather wasting time to get others to act right. I will not allow myself to be grouped. I define who I am and those who can't see me, who refuse to see me will regret it later. I wish more black men would have this attitude.

I really feel bad for younger generation, as 99.9999999% of them come from homes with no male leadership. And to the feminist/women's lib crowd, male influence is VERY important in a black household. Without that, you get a generation of ignorant, moist thugs. Soon, black folk will be as mentally alive as a tyrannosaurs rex in about 20 years.

 

I think male influence is important in any household. It's something I wish my son had - his father's influence in his life was negligible - he saw him frequently enough but his father always acted as a buddy rather than a dad.

I lost my dad when he passed away when I was 11, and I know my life would have been vastly different if he'd lived.

Single parents of either gender have a really hard road, and no matter what you do, you cannot be two people.
