Tiger's caddie is salty after being let go.

I was thinking the samething. you work at a corporation and the boss is banging the receptionist while he is married will not prompt you to quit due to your morales

 

Haven't there been other adjustments in Tiger's camp as well lately? It's business and the caddy should just move on.

 

no difference than what happened in john edwards camp...his cheating scandal included many people that worked for him...it's one thing if it's just a job and the employee is collecting a paycheck...but once that employer crosses the line and expects the employee to participate in the process or coverup of a scandal is when it becomes a problem

 

good riddance to that trash. he talked way too much for hired help. i hope tw closes his circle so that it only holds his mother and his kids....

 

not trying to be funny.. but just what are the qualifications to be a professional caddy besides heavy lifting?

 

Caddies actually do a lot of work, from walking the courses before the tournaments to get multiple yardage calculations based on their player's most common yardage hit per club, to reading the greens on puts, to course maintenance when needed (raking bunkers, replacing divots, repairing ball marks, ect.) amateur psychiatrist for his player (golfers go through a full range of emotions during a round, a good caddy knows how to help get them back or keep them on track), being able to analyze course conditions, wind, speed of greens, length of rough, type of grass and how it might affect shots, in short its a lot more than just carrying clubs.

Also, Most players trust their caddies to maintain the condition of and the number of clubs in their bags. Players are allowed 14 clubs in competition, Ian Woosnam was in contention for Major a few years back when his caddie informed him that he forgot to take out a new driver they were testing that morning on the driving range, so they had 15 clubs in the bag, cost them a 2 shot penalty and the tournament, that caddy did not last very long.

 

Actually Steve Williams always claimed that he did not know anything of Tiger's off the course behavior, from all accounts while they were friends, they did not do a lot of socializing off the course.

Tiger was a disgrace. He had ever black mans dream! A beautiful white women and a whole bunch of money yet he fucked it all up!

Yeah but its not the same as growing up with your REAL daddy in the home at all times. Trust me I should know.

 

He was just lucky Scott won, Scott has only won eight (including this recent win) in ten or more years, compare that to relatively new comer Ryo Ishikawa that came in fifth that's won 9 tournaments in his short career (I think he's 19, opposed to 31yr old Scott, whom was once considered a threat to Tiger, not). Ishikawa hasn't won on the PGA, which is more difficult, but doesn't diminish the quality of his wins by much. Williams should be too excited cause he probably won't see much more win from Scott for awhile.

That caddie has issues which he has not faced up. Still mad at Tiger even though his new boss won? That is weird.

 

He definitely does have issues and overstates his importance significantly. Some of the sports writers commented negatively about him also. A reporter noted that it was the most narcissistic display he had ever seen with the number of times Williams used "I" and other personal pronouns, and used "he" or "him", referring to Adams, only a couple of times, pretty telling.

One pro golfer said that Steve Williams broke the unwritten rule, not to talk to the media. Another PGA professional remarked that he was confused as it seems that the caddie thought that he was playing in the tournament, lol.

Steve had better hope that Adams "loves" him because his stock has diminished significantly in the eyes of other potential bosses. I'm sure they are thinking, if he did it once, he'll do it again.

 

Where are you seeing that he "is mad, even though his new boss won"?
